Muta is speaking knowledgeably and honestly! No pretense! He is well-studied, and knows what he is saying. Too many people just repeating things they hear others saying. How many of those people really studied the Council of Nicea and Constantine? How many people really stop and concentrate on why certain concepts were introduced into the new religion of Christianity? Yet, they just want to tell you to read it in the Bible. How can you use the Bible to validate the same book? Think about it!
mutambaruka. u r a lively soul. inspiration to the motherland.bt north west south east Africa bive in Jesus and his word in the bible. infarct Ethiopians believe in jesus too!

Nice program Muta. A long time i man bun organized religion....they are the problem for all of mankind. Your concept of life and GOD that's what i been saying for quite sometime. It's not GOD create man It's man create God. My religion is LOVE!
Daren Willcock In short. He's saying the Roman Empire created the word Jesus and the concept of God was originally created in Egypt. He said you can't use the Bible to validate the same bible. Rastafarianism was recently established to reconnect roots back to Africa (Egypt) where the concept of monotheism was once created by a king. My take: Selassie I is their idea of their 'God' who is a concept of Solomon, the son of David. But isn't David a biblical reference? So why is Muta saying not to validate with bible yet the Bible itself validated David and Solomon.
Yes 'Ironfist.....@ Very much so, I have featured Elder Wilson several times on my show. One of the greatest thinkers...I love him and miss him dearly.
A few people have asked me for the name of the song that Muta plays on this show. It is a remake of Bob Marley's 'Africa Unite' by African artist 'Meiway'. Peace
@ VisualFyahCrew. I just went to Bing to get your comment translated: "It would be very powerful if they could put subtitles in Spanish to video,". If I spoke Spanish I would certainly give it a try my dear, but unfortunately I do not. Peace and Love.
Rasta is natural in everyway, in the physical and spiritual consciousness. Every idea of rasta is phenomenal based on actual real events that happened, not on doctrinal stories that is believed to have happened. Rasta is not a religion it is a way of understanding life and living without adding or subtracting from nature. If one thinks of Rastafari with a religious mind-set, such as an omnipotent/omnipresent being, one will only illude oneself Rasta dont accept the supernatural faith of divinity
If you live on my street and there is a trash filled playground at the end of the block, and I say to the neighbors, "let's clean up this playground so our children can play in it," anyone that shows up the next morning to help with the work is my brother or sister. It does not matter if they are Christian, Hebrew, Muslim, Buddhist, Black, White, Gay, Straight etc. Let us work together on the issues upon which we can all agree.
Brother Muta is on a correct gliding path because he allows his mind to function correctly by fully exploiting the power of intellectual investigation, unfortunately Christianity does not accept rationality
greetings to all my point is that as a jamaican who my ancestors came out of africa.my opinion on H.I.M EMPEROR HAILE SELASSIE 1 is that he have all right to consider himself as a christian because thats where their way of life came from and the europians from rome came to adopt the way of life call christianity and turn it into religious doctrine. that why the musilini said without we control ethopia we cannot control the earth which is africa .and who did save africa and the world.HIS MAJESTY
One thing Muta has to understand though, If you disregard the Bible you have to disregard Haile Selassie, Because then you have to also get rid of the belief that he is apart of this so called Divine Lineage. So if your going in, Go all the way Rasta.
If u idolize something, it doesn't mean u want to become that something. It is just that u find a certain character in that something that captivates u the individual, which means u are not loosing ur self because u are captivated by that something
listen to the man, Garvey was a christian but it doesn't mean i have to be a christian. Study history and you know how white religion has destroyed Africans
To all crack heads"...................We believe and we hold our beliefs to be true and sacred until the day we discover that we were duped. The end of belief is a challenging moment. You feel lonely, unconnected, with nothing to hang on. Your life becomes empty and aimless. You curse the day doubt entered your mind but you cannot undo the damage. You need to find a new direction for your life, something new to hang your hope on to continue living. And most of the time that thing is you. At that junction in life you will need to believe in you to continue living.
Education is the Key, so I trust the Words of His Imperial Majesty. Its important what Haile Selassie tell's about Jesus. Jah Voice comes with a lovefull Vibe, free from to much rage, cool and calm, still his Enemis tremble. For the lies that the Antichrist's spread out a de Vatikan, i would never blame Jesus. How would you feel, if someone preaching foolishness and wickedness in your Name?
Pure education, science over ignorance, teach them rastaman teach them. The Western ideology have them fooled, psychologically blind to what is in front of them. many cannot see themselves even when looking in the mirror. More fire, bun dem, di wole a dem - Respect to all Rastaman teachings
Yes reggae moved me to a place that I smoke the music and drink the truth. My heart is breaking that YHWH revealed in three persons. The only God. The one Selassie was baptized into...If you study the Bible you see there is one Name given to men by which we must be saved.I had a time I moved with the music not thinking what the message said.Stand on what the Bible says and you will live.
Religion is man trying to explain the unknown ... unless that creator or God reveals hiself herself or itself and speaks to us fa e to face as human beings .....ITS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN HAVE REAL TRUTH ...OTHERWISE WE AS HUMANs with our religions and God concepts ARE JUST GUESSING ....
Based on Muta's reasoning about how Selassie is viewed this leaves it wide open for all kinds of trouble whereby any Rasta can project his or her own interpretation about the movement and the position of Selassie without anyone being incorrect or correct. Muta fails to establish why Selassie should be considered the Almighty and what were the historical reasoning which caused Jamaicans, like Howell to declare divinity in the personality of Selassie? Elsewhere Muta does acknowledge that Selassie was seen through the lens of Christianity and the Bible and that this was the beginning of Rasta as a religious movement. If that is to be rejected now then what is the basis for Rasta to declare Selassie as the almighty other than a need for Black people in Jamaica to see god through a black personality-Selassie? Muta needs to address the fact that the term almighty brings a religious connotation to the minds of people and if he has a different conception of the almighty outside of religion he needs to clarify that difference. If you examine the historical position that Howell took regarding Selassie's divinity we will see that he was influenced by Hindu ideas wherein their deity also occupies the position of Princes and Kings. This is so when it comes to Ramachandra and Krishna. It was this that caused Howell to declare that since Hindu Kings were Hindu gods, then the Black race must then have their Kings that would be their god. After Selassie became King in 1930, Rasta looked into the bible and patched together the ideas about Selassie's divinity. This search for divinity was greatly influenced by the fact that Selassie being the head of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and a Christian monarchy took the title King of Kings, Lion of the tribe of Judah. Many monarchs took this and similar titles with the understanding that they are the defenders of the Christianity faith headed by Jesus the Christ. However, Rasta took this to mean that Selassie was the second coming of Jesus the Christ and began to worship him as the Almighty. This is a fact within the evolution of Rastafari in Jamaica. So if Muta wants to move away from that because of its association to Rome then what is the need to see Selassie within any religious understanding with terms such as Almighty? Personally I feel Rasta would be better off following Selassie as a leader without any religious association. But as the one caller pointed out Selassie’s message included his desire to present Christianity. This is why he sent the Ethiopian Orthodox Church to Jamaica to teach the Rasta community what he stood for and what was the teaching of the Church. Ultimately this was rejected by Rasta who insisted that Selassie is god. Muta admits that he went to the Church in Ethiopia and declared Selassie is the almighty. If you want to distance yourself from religion and Christianity why then the need to declare Selassie as the Almighty-a religious idea and at the same time distant yourself from Selassie’s understanding of his faith? It seems like Rasta just want to correct the Church and get them to see it as they do, while at the same time claiming a non-religious position. Cannot have it both ways. Rasta ideas need further evolution but bear in mind that not all Rasta agree with Muta point of view. I appreciate the fact that Black Jamaicans under the Queen and King of England needed Black historical roots to elevate their self-value. Marcus Garvey understood that religion was so important to Black people that he was perplexed on how to get Blacks to see their progress in a White world as being more important than their religious sentiments. I appreciate the fact that Muta is redefining himself, his spiritual identity through an African perspective. However, it must be considered that African is a body of thousands of cultures, ideas and perspectives and these are not necessarily the historical roots of those shipped into the West. At the same time Muta you cannot deny the religious world view that is being formulated within the Rasta communities around the world has as its basis an overlaying attempt to retell Christian and Biblical history. This point is very crucial. It is one thing to create your own world view through whatever cultural lens you wish but then if it overrides and seeks to retell other people’s story there is a problem. This point can totally be understand if we consider the Ethiopian history and the Orthodox Church’s understanding about their faith. Many now seem to have no problem with retelling Ethiopian history from a Jamaican Rastafarian point of view. This is a double standard. Anyway, lots more can be said about this subject. I would love to be in a discussion with Muta and others on this and many other subjects to arrive at greater clarity. And I would like to acknowledge that many of the opinions shared by Muta is accurate and correct but at the same time his views are not always complete. For example Hare Krishna’s do not celebrate the birth of Krishan on the 25 of December. The celebration of Krishna’s birth is known as Janmastami and it is celebrated in August. This date is not fixed date like Christmas but falls according to the Vedic calendar and is a national holiday in India.
1001apes , family, thank you 🙏🏿 I think you’re perspective of Muta is correct! I’ve been following him for a while now and I love the awareness that this brother brought to our community but I totally disagree with his Rastafarian view and not because it’s confusing. His concept of Rasta whether evolving or devolving putting selassie in the mix the way does is something he himself can’t explain and I heard him tried many times to explain but I think he is aware that his association with selassie makes him no different to the christian and his jesus, for it is a Christian concept. Rastafari is his brand and through Bob Marley’s prophetical message, reggae music and the ganja attach to it reggae and Rasta can be found in every corner of the earth. Changing the brands name is the material aspect that I’m sure many Rasta’s who are aware are not willing to do. There is more power in calling ourself African than a Rasta which has derived from Christianity and is still rooted in the concept of Christianity which Muta rejects! Muta, I love you, you’re a very intelligent brother and maybe the only vocal power in our community to take Rasta to a higher level of awareness of who we really are Africans, sellah!
H.I.M. taught us to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ so I'm gonna follow the teachings of H.I.M. for only he was anointed like the kings of the ages and had the blood of Solomon running in his veins. Man have done their best to misinterpret the teachings of Jesus but they fail if one is determined to search out the great wisdom Christ granted to humanity with grace.

When Emperor said, I was taught Bible from childhood, it frightened so called rasta prophet, forgot chapter A Day lessons. Jesus went to school from childhood, as a grown Man, he told religious institutions - search scriptures for in them u think u have eternal life: and they are they which Testify of Me. Emperor say he has Personal experience in Bible. wat's the difference; they can't recognize Him from Bible.
muta..when black people call in pon any radio station and ah defend jesus dat show the chains still they on we mind,The chains come off we foot and hands but it have our mind lock down.Give thank to men like Dr Yosef ben Jochannan,Dr John Henrik Clarke,Dr Ivan Sertima,Prof George Jackson,Dr Chake Anti Diop and other who help me remove the chains from my mind.
let him diligently search his family tree should take him back to his ancestry, should take him back to humanity genesis, this should lead him to Man's Creator. Call him how he may he remains Creator.
Mäkonnen Wäldä-Mika'él (May 8, 1852 - March 21, 1906) or simply as Ras Makonnen, was a general and the governor of Harar province in Ethiopia, and the father of Tafari Mäkonnen (later known as Emperor Haile Selassie I). His father was Fitawrari Woldemikael Woldemelekot of Menze Amhara. Makonnen was a grandson of Negus Sahle Selassie of Shewa THROUGH HIS MOTHER Leult, according to the bible children of Israel shall be named after the house of our fathers
Bible Collage Addis Ababa 1967, Emperor say, We in Ethiopia have 1 of the oldest version of Bible, whatever language it maybe written the WORD remain 1 n the same. Here the Emperor Selassie/Holy Trinity is revealing the Word-Kal, 2nd Person of Trinity in St. John cpt. 1...Kal bemedjemeriya Kalim Be Igziabiher zendi nebere...Kalia Siga hone - Word became flesh. many ppl confuse over this; they say He said he is not Jesus, when! where!. Emperor say Kal/Word is Eternal. not dead, when did he say I'm not Power of Holy Trinity-Matt, 28, 19?
Haile Muta..the I need fi give your guess a chance to express themself also. Yeh I a seh is dat Lenard Howell is the first rasta but him no wear locks. Marcus Garvey use Selassie I as a SYMBOL to show black people of a black king...just to say blacks can be great people on the earth...It has nothing to do with the king as a God or an individual. When you said a man is God or the Almighty,,,what do you by that? I said if there was no man there wouldn't be no God..It's not God create man is man create God.
Yeah what i mean is that...it's the very thought of man create God...without that thought in man...there would be no God. It's about evolution...changes within time and space.
Haile Sellassie. I. Came with the light of knowledge . Many became a witness to his presence . He went back to. the light of higher knowledge ! Jesus. was created on earth and received knowledge on earth and became his-story . And died by the hands of his own . Haile Sellassie became a christian for a reason . For black people survival . Because in this Roman world you are only saved by the name of Jesus . He never claim to be a Jesus . If he didn't black life wouldn't matter . As many. are experiencing now , because of the resurrection of consciousness . That 's why. he said Jesus. Is the saviour of this world . And that's how black people manage to have a reasonable life .
Muta, Did you know that a Genuine Rastaman cannot get Heart Attack, Stroke or Dementia. Dem seh is Mind, Soul and Body. But if a person is governed by their Spirit, that would give them the ability to have Dominion and full control over their own Structure known as the body. Is the wrong way of living people use and discredit themself why dem suffer serious Self Affliction
