The goverment has made it so difficult for individuals who want to stop there drug abuse of heroine for ex sample you Cn't go to the pharmacy and by the recommended medication that helps with the ease of the withdrawal effect over the counter , you need a script from a private doctor and the medication it self is so costly its cheaper for the addict just to remain smokking

As a recovering drug addict this hits so hard.Drugs are the WORST thing you can ever have to be a part of your life. They strip you of everything. You lose your loved ones, friends, possessions and dignity /self worth. It's a constant fight. You will be sober for 4 years, only to relapse and be back to square one again. If you can NEVER try drugs.
As an ex drug user. I do feel the effort that Thando is using to help those who still using to go for rehab. Congratulation to SA has rehab facilities. As for me my work is a same as Thando ( community mobilizer) in my beautiful country Burundi 🇧🇮. Although we still have along way to go
