Im glad things like this are coming out. I wish this had dual blades and more focused on mulching. It would be sweet if you can do a perimeter pass with it and have like an auto mow inside button like some of the other tiny robot mowers. This thing looks awesome 😎

The dual blades would be a nice feature. This does have a mulch kit, so I will probably use that more than bagging tbh. This is a new release and they have several suggestions for improvements and they also have some robotic/remote controlled options all in one mower in the pipeline as well. Pretty cool technology!

Kan you pair this with DJI FOV Goggles??? Does it have the same range as a DJI drone like 10 miles ???

The Mowrator S1 does not have a camera on it stock from the factory. That said, you could likely rig a camera to it (or even your drone temporarily) and use it to get an onboard POV of the mower from a distance. I have had the mower probably 200-250 yards away from the remote so far with no issues, I am not sure of the exact range of the Mowrator remote, but I can say that it is definitely not a several miles range. It is a really cool mower and it actually cuts the grass quite well. Thanks for watching!

It lowers to a HOC of 1.7" and it does bag clippings or can also mulch too

Is the case made of steel or aluminium?

The deck, front axle, and main frame are steel. The outer tubing/frame is cast aluminum. It's very sturdy compared to other kinds of robotic mowers I have seen/used. And the fact that it has a real mower blade is plus!

When I saw this I couldn’t believe it I was like heck yeah rig some cameras to it & I’ll be on the porch sipping lemonade cutting the front & backyard just like the RU-vid ad. Until I seen the Estimated prices 💀😭 great idea but estimate price needs to come down for this price if I wanted to be lazy I’d just get a riding lawnmower lol

They just announced the kickstarter price within the last hour. The S1 2WD model shown in the video is launching at $1,799, the 4WD model is launching at $2,199. Great price point based on the overall build quality and performance of the unit based on other other robotic lawn mowers I have seen and used. 😂 It's built pretty solid and could be a handy tool for people with physical limitations that still want to mow. They even have an option available for a remote dump feature for the bagger and it can mulch as well instead of bag to give someone options and more autonomy. I can't wait to cut some grass this season and try it out on the slopes!

Absolutely! I can't wait to mow some grass with this beast this spring! I want to see how it does on the slopes in the lawn and how well it mulches with the mulch kit on it. It is really cool especially for those who may have physical limitations but still enjoy mowing. Thanks for watching bro!

It is expensive for a lawnmower that isn‘t a robot. It is basicly an electric lawnmower with a remote control.

Correct, this model is 100% RC operated. They are developing other models with robotic and remote capabilities, but this model is targeted more for people not interested in robots who still want to be involved with mowing their lawn. Thanks for watching!

😂 I am pretty impressed that the only plastic on this thing is the battery cover - the rest is metal. Very good build quality, but I want to see how it cuts grass!

This model is 100% remote operated with smart pilot assist. They have other fully robotic options in the works.
