I created this channel for those who love DIY Lawncare as much as I do. I used to work in the lawn and landscape field and now do it for fun in my spare time when I am not working my regular job. My goal with this channel is to share tips and ideas I have learned and use to make my lawn the best it can be while trying to stay budget friendly.
I look forward to bringing you on my journey so we can learn from each other along the way.

Absolutely do use a surfactant. Creeping Charlie is extremely difficult to kill and you need all the help you can get to get it into the plant for systemic kill. Surfactant and oil aren’t recommended because they are concerned about turf damage. If you want the stuff dead quick add a little NIS and a touch of MSO
I'm on city water and have decent pressure. That is the amount of time it takes me to get 1/2" down per zone on the entire lawn. In mid season when it's really hot and dry, my bill is about $250ish per month for water when I irrigate like that, which isn't terrible based on feedback I have heard from others. Thanks for watching!

I was not even aware that they made a solar option for this, I will have to check it out. Since I have put it up, I have only had to change the batteries once so far. The solar option would be a game changer if you are mounting it in a more hard to access area. Thanks for watching!
It varies on the amount of power you are using, but for light trimming and maintaining around my property, the 2.5AH battery will last me probably 5-8 full trims of my small yard. Thanks for watching!

My unit will not go that far without walking behind it. Did you all change the distance or how can I deactivate the distance sensor like I see on the RU-vid videos.
I do have a demo unit that was available to me before the production models were released so that could make a difference. I'm not 100% sure. I haven't adjusted any settings or seen anything that make a difference for range. Thanks for watching!
Drought Defender and Hydretain are two different things. Drought Defender has some potassium, kelp, and a growth inhibitor in it to slow down top growth and give the grass vital nutrients to survive during heat and drought. Hydretain has a unique way of drawing water to the roots of the grass. I use both of these products in tandem and they work phenomenally. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@@TheLawnLoverbet. Guess I'm gonna grab a couple and see how how far the coverage is. I'm currently using 3/4 hoses and the rainbird impact sprinkler heads on the spike. Does the job but the sound of the impact sprinkler starting to get on my nerves😂
Summer heat and drought can wreak havoc on any lawn, but taking the proper steps to prepare your lawn for summer stressors will have your lawn reacting like the Nature Boy Ric Flair in his prime. Some of my favorite products to accomplish this is granular sulfate of potash 0-0-50, Hydretain, and fertilizers from Turf Titan (Drought Defender, Lawn Kelper, and Hydro Holder). These have worked great for me in keeping my lawn thriving all summer long! I know it’s not related to this video but thanks for the turf titan promo code! Saved me 10bucks! I’ve only used their products this year and can see a huge difference! Ordered commander and Kelper
@kobocopcustoms I just treated it in the spring, you can treat it anytime of year just as long as you don't spray it during air temps of 85 degrees or higher at the time of application.
I use Epson salt on my lawn. Bought a bag from Walmart $6 a bag. I believe it was 4lb bag. And your talking about growth and turning green. I live in South West Texas. I'm wondering by adding this molasses to my lawn will it turn it greener? I just order a bag.
Yes, the molasses will definitely green things up, especially in the heat. It really feeds those microbes and gives the soil a boost, resulting in the green up. Thanks for watching!
*Clarification: While this is a gas powered tiller, it runs on a 50:1 fuel mixture. I bought 50:1 premixed non-ethanol fuel for it so I didn't have to mix my own. I mentioned you didn't have to mix fuel in the video and wanted to clarify this is 50:1 fuel, I just used the premixed fuel in it. Thanks for watching!
It really is! When I unboxed it, I wasn't so sure, but after the first use I was sold. This thing works perfectly for stirring up the garden. Thanka for watching! 🤜💥🤛
