for a white who veiws durban as if it was during their father's time before 1994 whereby us blacks most of us were prohibited to enter the city is utterly rubbish stop that nonsense thinking and racial comment. now everyone is free to go to durban
Saxosha uhulumeni wabelungu sithi bayasihlukumeza kodwa iqiniso ukuthi i-community welfare was so much better than what our black government is doing. So what was the point?
@@phumelelemaduna4342 I love that you are a black person acknowledging the reality of things because if a white person said this people would turn a blind eye.
Durban was better under mayor Obed Mlaba. Now you walk around Durban central, it smells strong urine and pooh. The arcade next to Shoprite (Smith Street) is something else When they dig pavements, they leave it open. I hate going to town
That arcade you are talking about is truth this! Really Durban central is dilapitating and going down hill! Imagine 10 years from now.......govt/municipal fails us!!!!!
Very bad indeed even izincingo abaziphenduli abaholi abasema office, please let people vote wisely this time around please otherwise change is in our hands
Obvious... I am sure no one dares to contest this contract to manage these busses. I was still in school, 20 years later, they are still managing those busses, I even saw one of their FB page claiming to own these busses, the same busses they set to manage. There is another issue being linked to the same people, Durban BRT that was built-up and ready to be used, still laying dormant because of certain individuals who don't want it to operate. If we think the government runs the show, we will wake up one day being like Haiti.
@@gsmixification They also kill taxi owners in Port Shepston ngoba bafuna iRank yakhona. Because they are Bheki Cele's friends the NIU is doing nothing about it. Bese uzwa izilima kuTikTok zincoma iNIU
Who did Remant Alton sell its 60% to. Did municipality buy back the 60% If the bus service was wholey privatised i.e 60% to Remant, 30% to Ebhodwe and 10% to Taxi industry. Why us municipality so involved? Why are councillors so involved? I'm so confused with this business situation?
I hear your point. I think that company sold it back to the municipality but they did that very quietly so that the retrenched drivers are not aware. That's my thought. I might be wrong
The company must diversify to avoid the close down. Look at other income sources. It must not leave all its fate to the hands of the ANC and the corrupt EThekwini Municipality officials as they allege.
okwe eff nje umdlalo ke baba ngoba labantu aba busy noku privatiser bashaya sengathi abazi lutho derek hanekom has links to eff if uyakwazi lokho, that means trevor manuel also,so nje indaba yalabo eff ibona kuyimanje abasusisa u brian molefe beno matshela koko ku eskom bebe beyiqedile i load shedding
Jacob Zuma was KZN MEC of Economic Affairs in 1994, DP from 1999-2005 and President from 2007-2017. Uphethile amandla ya economy ka kzn. Ngoba u-phetha I-network yama nkabi udlalile i-defacto premier regardless of the official position holder as seen in the July riots.
These are devastating events that leave a lasting impact, shaking the very foundations and existence of these people. I hope they find the strength to rebuild, heal, and find strength in their misfortune.
TO THE PEOPLE THAT ARE STILL HOLDING ON TO THE HOPE THAT ANC WILL CHANGE LET IT GO. TRY OTHER PARTIES JUST NOT THE DA THEY ALSO DON'T CARE ABOUT THE WHOLE POPULATION
I’m really tired of people complaining yet when they vote they still vote ANC…Phela still don’t see the potential that SA if it was governed better and the ANC out of power
This is very sad for the people that started this business Ebhodwe transport services and we want anyone that to help this company let's work as a team guys please 🙏🏾
This is very sad but the first step is to VOTE 🗳 ANC OUT . We need to vote for coalition of MK, EFF, UDM, COPE etc. Enough with these so called "Apartheid struggle fighters".
There's nothing more sickening than this, why are government employed journalists are doing police investigators jobs. Where are the government employed police and the NPA to bring justice to these poor people. Kudus to investigative journalists..
It's very sad how embezzlement of funds, corruption, fraud and greed can cause a ripple effect that everyone in the society will feel, one way or the other. I honestly apologise to the aging shareholders who are yet to receive anything, I hope they will be sorted before they are called to heaven🤲🏾📿
It irks me that some dumb people have assumed administrative roles in the city and have sucked it dry. There's corruption in SA, yes. But what's happening in Durban is sickening. Ayikho indawo ekunzima kuyo ukuthola umsebenzi njengaseThekwini. To make matters worse, khona os'hlama abathatha imali abangayisebenzelanga.
Blade gave the buses to taxi operators to end a taxi war in the 2000s and we are suffering, ngenxa yalokho eThekwini is a mob city konke kuphethwe izigila mkhuba
It's so sad. People believed in the ANC and the ANC abandoned them.left them with nothing. Now the ANC dumped the name ANC and became MK and the people love Zuma. Zuma will save South Africa. It's a joke. MK will make sure nobody goes to jail hence the MK party will save the ANC.
I would love for you to elaborate. There were so many people employed and taking care of there families in the past. I agree that the previous government did not do things in the correct manner. However I am of an age where I can not talk about any of that as I do not know or remember that time. As for the older generations, many will tell you they had work, education.... The ANC came into power and things under Mandella went well. From then it just went backwards, yet people still believe that the anc is making there lives better. Many people can not take care of family not even of themselves as there are no jobs. Money is circulated amongst families within the ANC while the people on the street die.
@@shaunduvenage Well during the NP (National Party) rule everything worked. Most people had work. The ANC took over a well functional government and state. They should have built on that foundation but the ANC they destroyed everything even the foundations. It's not incompetence, lack off skills or intelligence but purely greed and selfishness. Ramaphosa and Zuma both said ANC first and South Africa second All SOE's are broken. Then you will still see thing like Durban transport collapsed. We know about Estena Dairy farm. I watched Cart Blance were the ANC scared people in the Northern Cape out of a mining contract. Most of the projects failed it took years to finish the highway between Empangeni and Richards bay because of corruption. Sports grounds are incomplete, water plants are incomplete. Lack of maintenance on existing infrastructure not existing. I can care on and on. We need lifestyle audits on all politicians and their families. I'm sure the old NP presidents and ministers live comfortable life and lived in moderate houses not like this ANC presidents and ministers which have luxurious sports cars and mansions.
Everything that involves ANC iyabheda nje. ANC don't care about us, especially people who live in the townships, we are treated as stupid people, they offer us bad service delivery and try to bribe or manipulate our elders by giving them free food (which is not even that nice). The grant money is worthless because food prices are so high, don't even get me started about the R350, R350 is pocket money these days, because travelling is expensive also, you could use R100 just by going to a place, R100 returning, already R200 is gone, basi thatha kancane kahle kahle.
