Hi, Christopher. Thanks for the video. Do you think a thief could break in to my house by cutting this safety glass from outside? I was planning to use this glass on my windows paired with some sensors to detect impact or the window opening.
Ive always thought about this....cutting a hole in glass and breaking into a building. Only because we see it in movies. Im pretty good at Drilling or cutting holes in glass, in a work environment. Now if you're trying to be sneaky and quit.....I dont see it happening, might as well smash the window and go about your business.
@@christopherlees.4251 Yeah, my apartment had screwed bars on the inside to prevent break-ins, but I removed everything because they were so ugly. Then my idea was to use laminated-glass with the break-in sensor, and improve my windows because they can be lifted and removed easily. I owe you a beer.
air table is for floating the glass . so you can move sheets with ease. but also like u said it helps with absorbing the impact. but but also.....your table has to be in good shape, since Glass cutting tables are big. that one is 12'x12' the carpeted top is usually 4 pieces or more of wood. If one piece of wood i lower or higher then the other. Glass will break.
