Cutting rolled up newspaper targets with saber 

I bought it from cult of athena years ago, it is made by indian manufacturer windlass steelcrafts. But I believe it is still available for purchase. I am not sure of the design since it is marketed as american revolution saber. Then again most of the military blades at the time were inspired by european sabers.

@@Sukkamariini Did you do the sharpening yourself? Could you recommend the blade? Been looking at that specific model for a while now.

@@D990990990 The sharpening was done by Kult of athena shop, it has a clear bevel that could be more shallow, but it is still sharp to this day. Some say that the wooden handle can be slippery but I've had no problem with that. Even if you do, I recommend just using a leather glove. So yes, I would recommend this sword.

These are dry and not soaked, not really sure does it make them easier or harder to cut, they are without doubt lighter target since soaking them in water brings weight. I don't know about realistic, in comparison to what? If you mean a living target?. I did not try to simulate an arm or anything else, it's just a target for my training. I know some people simulate bone with having a wooden stick in the middle. But I doubt that is realistically accurate. Makes a tougher to cut through, that I'm sure :)
