Your more than welcome bud and sorry you can't visit all these places anymore but I will continue to film them for everybody as best I can and if you ever see things you like most dealers ship so you can always go on there website or give them a call but I know its not the same but I will continue to share all if I can 😊👍
I knew you had caught me with your camera haha, was a great day out was the first time I had been to Cuttlebrook and came away with some little beauties. Great video mate
Very interesting video bud and in some ways this feels a lot like bonsai. You can buy a young koi for only a few quid, but an older and larger one will burn a hole in your wallet 😂
There's some bloody nice koi in amongst all that lot. I'm a big advocate of British bred koi. I don't think they'll ever replace the Japanese imports as it's all about ego; however, mass market and wholesale is surely the opportunity. We should be encouraging the likes of Maidenhead and World of Water to stock British koi rather than flying them in from Israel or wherever. They can't be that much cheaper.
The same can be said of Byer's, although they don't look as good as the Japanese imports because they don't get a colour enhancer (a special one that works in low water temperatures that amateurs won't touch) to make them bright red in winter to make them look better and increase the unit price per sale, but that doesn't mean they look as good as them. But the idea is to have fun applying our own colour enhancers. Better than watching the Japanese ones fade away later. 。。。。。
@@keepingitkoi The sequence from here on is a number of examples where the colour was bright red immediately after importation from Japan, but did not continue to be continuously fed with colour enhancers, so it seems to have reverted back to its original colour.
