Thanks for the video. I'd never ran into an axle clamp such as this and was dumbfounded since I was expecting an ear clamp as per the illustrations. I purchased the proper tool for these soon after and your video was excellent for assistance.
"It's junk in my book" he says... 😂 Had you purchased the other (ear) type bands, then it should have worked a treat. When considering the direction of rotation, people should also consider that the band is going to be bent 180 degrees at install. Pretty good video for someone doing it for the first time.

Get a good set of tools you won't need a hammer. Hammering it down weakened/cut the rubber and it could be a failure point in the future but to each there own. Thanks for the videos I watch every one of them keep them coming man.
I don't know why you couldn't figure out how to us the 2nd tool before you made the video. You had it turned 90° from how you use it. The 2nd tool you showed, which appeared to be the Kent-Moore J-22610, is essentially the GM factory tool for boots. If you buy good quality replacement boots you need it to install the factory style clamps.
I never understood those wires with loops at the end that Beck & Arnley boot replacement kits bring. Is it to put your fingers through the loops and tighten the wire?
@@ShawnCrowley I have had a few metal bands break loose or were just not that tight an grease came out the boots, but with the Zip Tie you know for sure its really tight and you can always use 2.
Hey man quick question for safc 2 do you need to adjust how much fuel to give depending on weather on the daily basis? You know like if it’s colder give it more fuel if it’s hotter take off some fuel
No. That fine control is still handled by the ECU. This is just making the adjustment needed for the larger injector size that the ECU is not aware of.
