Thank you for the review mate, always easy to understand and straight to the point. CVJ seems to me is a brand that can pull off great hardware but have not been able to find their feet with their sound tuning yet. Any idea for the next IEM to review?
Pro tip CCA Rhapsody you can jam EDM and Metal for hours and hours without fatigue while still having decent treble and details. I love the Rhapsody for shit like Noisia and DnB.. and fast metal with a lot of crash cymbals blasting all the time.
Simply the HBB is a better option. Yes it is confusing as there are many brands and so many models at this price range. The reason why I didn’t deep dive into this is they have ruined the upper mid range. It was so much boosted that is sounds so shouty. Just go for the HBB, it is really good.
What's the shelf life of a sealed pack IEM(never even removed the outer box's plastic wrap)? I know this question is kinda weird but if had purchased an IEM(budget) just for some emergency backup and never had got the need to use it for next 2-3 years, will it still sound the same?
That's a good question. Actually, a question that I too have personally. I think unless you remove the plastic cover, it’s all good. But for the cheap products, they won't hold up that much. Not sure, just my thought.
@@weirdear95 One of my senior colleague had brought a Philips DJ monitoring headphones some 13 or 14 years ago but never got the chance to unbox and use it. When I met him last month, and asked about that headphones, he told he gave that to his nephew a year ago, but they were still sounding good and with all that bass thump and rumble needed for DJ-ing. This what got me curious about IEMs.
@@siddhesh2888 Those audio gear shops have products in their shelfs which are 10, 15 and more years old. But as you mention, those are great quality products. Also, those plastic wraps must do a big role in avoiding the product not to contact with the outer environment. I doubt, it will be the same for cheap and budget products.
Can you give music examples for each category like mids, low ends etc.? I don't know much about these but I love IEM's so that I can choose which types of IEMs are best suit for me, btw thanks for good and simple reviews 🖐🏻
Thanks man ❤️. I have My Spotify playlists. I have created 3 playlists as for now. 1 for Low end, 1 for Soundstage and Imaging and the other one created collecting the songs where other reviewers use for their testings. These will help a lot in testing the IEMs. And you gave a great suggestion where i was too thinking in doing. Will do my best to cover that part too.
4:10 its disappointing that iem that is advertised for gaming and movies performs average. Very few has done reviews on this one. The warning, that you really need high bassy tracks to utilize the vibrator unit is appreciated. Any chances of reviewing tanchjim one? Seems one of the best around $20. Few reviewers even put it over chu 2.
Yeah, i had so much hopes for it to perform better on gaming and on movies, but disappointed. I will surely do a review on Tanchjim, but it will take some time 😢
