Brave..... or potentially 'stupid' perhaps? 🤔 I pretty much wear nothing but flip flops from May until September..... which is dangerous when Taylor and the others are driving! Cheers man! Yeah, that 11 turn super modified should be our ticket to hit 40mph! 🤞 It took quite a while hunting down a brand new one,there's not a huge amount of fast 'new' brushed motors about these days unfortunately..... most have gone over to brushless! Cheers for checking in mate! 😊 👍 👍 👍

I don't want to give too much away just yet, but the shit may well be hitting the fan for our brown squidgy friend in the final episode!! 💩 As well as that super modified 11turn motor there's also potentially going to be a new body shell to bid Mr Hanky a fond farewell!! Cheers Pete! Hmmm..... you have a valid point mate! Ideally that road 'is' a tad busy! But, luckily I know everyone in the village, and they are very accommodating towards our antics in general. It's lovely and smooth/straight which makes it perfect for speed runs. It also has great visibility in both directions, and plenty of places where we can pull over to let the cars pass! But I'm sure in time something will get squashed eventually...... but it would make one hell of an entertaining video don't ya think?! 😂 As for the new motor, I have high hopes buddy..... Hey Fella...... Now that's a cool idea! 👍 Infact it's something that could work very well in one of our rc plane video's..... Cheers! We actually done an rc monster truck fireworks video back in November last year! We attached proper fireworks to a Tamiya lunchbox and Monster Beetle and drove them with all manner of smoke, sparks and explosions coming off of them! 😂 The video is in our channel library, you would probably enjoy it! Cheers Bob! Yep, I remember watching Glenn's videos on that motor all those years ago mate. Truth be known, I wanted one for my motor collection anyway..... and it accepts the readily available superstock brushes which means I can use it /maintain it. According to Tamiyas tech stats it should be around 30% more powerful than the superstock RZ which we got 30mph out of in the DT02. Thinking along these lines I'm hoping this should get us up in the high thirties all being well..... perhaps even 40mph if luck is on our side! (we will also be reducing the body weight with a different shell for the last run! 😉) I would LOVE to get us up there with the legend that is Mark Bryan! It's killed a few of our lunchbox fleet! 😂 I'm not going to be happy with anything less than 40mph on the last run with that super modified gem! I would love to catch Mark and Mads mate. A valient effort by all the brushed boys in general, and the competition keeps getting hotter! Is there anything in ze rules regarding using home made light weight body shells mate? 🤔 👍 👍 👍
