How true, how true. Glad it never aired officially in Germany. It was a cheap rip off of the original series and a proof that the Shapiros have no shame to abuse their own heritage. Glad to read here that this incredible mess ended meanwhile. Everything in the clips, available on RU-vid, looks cheap and very tasteless. Including miscast of Alexis. There'll be only one Alexis ever, the incredible Miss Joan Collins.

I watched all 5 seasons of the rebooted Dynasty, I absolutely loved the unaired and season 1 intros of the show, and I actually wished those intros remained for seasons 2-5. I was devastated when James McMay was written out of the show as he played Steven Carrington perfectly. When Sam Underwood came on canvas as Adam Carrington in season 2, he became my new favorite, but only following James McKay's exit.

I only saw season 1, they had excellent material with the original. But when I read the changes that took place in the actresses that played Krystle, Alexis, and that they had removed the character of Steven, I was not interested in seeing her anymore! Alexis Carrington there was only one important one, haha. Same Krystle! And this Steven was great, too bad. For whatever it was.

@@GuidoMeyer1511I think the differences are the pace and music. Notice that the first version has many horned instruments being used, and the second version really emphasizes on string instruments.

utter trash. im surprised this show got 5 seasons. expected to be canceled after the first. the original had style- this was just cheap and painfully aweful.
