Theme music to the CW / Netflix series Dynasty by Paul Leonard-Morgan
Here's the theme music from Seasons 1 to 3 for Dynasty. You'll hear how we change it up a bit every season. Season 1 I listened to the original theme and tried to work out which parts of it might work if we sampled it up, but it's in a minor key, so it's tough! We recorded quartet and solo trumpet (the wonderful Tom Hooten, principal of LA Phil - listen out for those amazing top notes at the end!). Then every season it becomes fatter and fatter, as we re-record the strings at Capitol Studios and I add a load more beats and synths. Props to Troy Noka for programming up some of the beats in Season 1 version.
