If by protection you mean headgear then I hope you know that doesn’t do anything except stop your face from getting cut

@@apirateslifeforme77 From what I know ( not pretending to be well informed or something ), in amateur fights you wear shin guard and headgear. Probably also sparring gloves which at least they wear here. I disagree about headgear. It can be super uncomfortable and in a way engage the other person to hit you harder in the head ( thinking that it's safer ), but for sure can reduce cuts and blow force. The last one is debatable from what I understand, but it seems like some research is happening that backs it up. Either way I'm just saying that the less protection you wear the more "professional" a fight should be considered resulting in paying the athletes. Cheers :)
