On the subject of rogue-like TTRPGs: One of my fav indie games is a tiny little free game named In The Light of a Dead Star. Every space on the map, every treasure to be found there, every NPC, and every monster are all randomly generated from tables. It takes zero prep on the part of the GM other than reading the (short) gamebook. The rolling for random headlines in Cy Borg seems to be a balance between curated and rogue-like adventures. I can see this appealing to some gamers.
My copy is on the way! I've been playing Mork Borg with some friends and if this game is anything like that, you know it's going to be absolutely horrifying and gory. Put on the most acidic, caustic industrial EDM you can find on youtube and get ready for heads to roll.
Peek out Emmerron as I know they had a recent game of it on their Twitch channel, and they went for a real long session with it. Don't think they've posted their VOD yet but that could be a reference point for you.
