Брат мне надо ваша помощь, можете ответить на мои пару вопросов. Я только что получил сертификат от гугла и сейчас практикую пайтон, я в Чикаго нахожусь. Был бы рад встретиться с вами
your channel is so underrated. You really answer all the questions especially for anyone that’s curious but has no clue where to start and what direction to go. We appreciate you mystery man.
Been seeing "IT Tech Mystrimister" a couple of months! Already subscriber, thinking about cloud engineering as a career or iot engineering! Thanks bruh, doing research atm! Hands on...coming soon!
At 40 years old I now know what I want to do. Thank you! Wear 5 chains and a ski mask. Really though. Amazing work. And I’m really going to make a career change. And you have been a great help.
Thank you for this. Me and my wife looking for a career change and both been interested in IT for years. Alot to learn, trying to find where to start, going the narrow down which path we should each take tonight. Been a janitor for 10 years and ready for change ❤
guys in a mask used to make me nervous, it's the factor of mystery. what if they stabbed me & ran away, nobody would know who it was, so what's stopping them. until i found your channel. you're the sweetest guy in a mask ever, and I'll always wish your channel grows huge. "mad" respect bro
Im so happy for these videos im 22 and loving computers i recently moved to america so starting a new and im trying to find my way these guides are helping alot to build my path thanks man cant wait for the cert video❤❤🎉
🙏🏾💯 thank you so much for the advice and tips. I recently separated from the Air Force and served for almost a decade as an Aircraft Technician. I joined at 20 years old. So separating and having to find the next chapter in my life, I really appreciate the info on how to navigate in this new world of IT.
I love how informative, yet hilarious your videos are; keeping it all highly entertaining. Never change...I mean grow of course, but don't change this approach!
We need more RU-vidrs who can produce these kind of edits 😂 And I agree this has been the best explanation of each cyber security role I’ve seen. Thank you so much ❤
Excellent work Mad Hat. I know how difficult is to edit a video, adding interactions checking every second to make sure it is correct, searching for those videos... great content. Congratulations!
Thank you for your many videos. It is straight to the point yet humorous, the kind of video I can watch for hours and not get bored. You deserve way more followers!
I'm probably not going to seek a career in cybersecurity, but I want to be well-versed in this stuff as our world grows ever more connected and online. It's important to be informed and prepared.
Bro thanks for making this. Everyone that talks about these specific areas make it confusing and call it all kinds of different names without really explaining it.
I know the "fixing closets like this" joke was meant to evoke existential horror... but I would gladly sit there and quietly organize and label every wire and connection. Preferably with a label maker, too. I was also the kid that quietly read during class, so I guess that's not too surprising. Could you imagine looking back and seeing a room like that neatly wired, clean, and organized? The sheer satisfaction of it would be immeasurable.
Bro you are saving my life! I’m thinking about getting into cyber security or some computer related field. Been binging on your videos all morning. Thank you for making these!
Thank you very much. I am 31 now and only have my high school diploma but i didn’t really know what I wanted to do but I found your channel and your videos are very inspirational. You do a very good job explaining and also saying what real life expectations for cyber security would be. You are very funny and also I didn’t realize that you were wearing chains this whole time😂. I really do appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos keep up the good work.
the video I didn't know I needed, thanks! they kept asking me what I wanted when trying to be an intern and I was like "whatever man" but that doesn't seem to work well
This is it. This is the one that made me hit the button. This channel is a perfect mix of data you can put into practice and entertainment without being "Hollywood RU-vid" Perfect blend.
Bro you have just made me come out of my shell and comment on this video to tell you that how hilarious yet informative this video is. And I have only just watched the first minute of it.
Hahaha im so glad you just referenced SOAR. I just cited a SOAR activity/usage while writing a response in my google cybersecurity certificate course, but absolutely couldnt remember what it stood for, and while logging back into it, allowed this vid to play again for a minute or two, and there it was lol. Thanks.
I had no idea that so many people I watch and are friends with play league and wow, and also do cybersecurity... Gives me hope as I just started college for Cybersecurity!
Please drop next video! I recently got my Network+ and found a job relatively quick. I’m thinking I want to do a AWS cert and Sec+ to close out the year and would really want to know what to go for next afterwards
Subbed not too long ago and man, I freaking enjoy your videos ! Doing my degree right now and I love how you put ideas and concepts together. Keep going, you earned a fan!
This is day 1 of the google cyber security certificate I’m studying for. You’re the main reason why. I want to do something along the lines of protecting companies networks and testing firewalls etc
Very rich content with graphics and interactions that made the content enjoyable and also made all the stuff cleared up and easy to understand, all the best man, thank you!
I like how you define the definitions/acronyms. And play dual roles 17:05-17:10.😜 12:46-12:53 Yep. Where exceptions are only made for some but not for others... 14:18-14:23 ...but I digress.
Every time I start trying to learn about Kubernetes, I give up a go with the idea that it’s just docker with more containers… which from what I heard that only is correct if you don’t know anything about Kubernetes😂
BRO WHY YOU GOTTA DO ME LIKE THAT???? I been subbed and was expecting the roadmap at the end but you just had to leave it as a cliffhanger Help a brotha out with some money-making paths of least resistance😂😂😂😂
My highschool actually had a cybersecurity class that I am in. We get security+, CCNA, Ethical Hacker, Pentester certificates for free as long as we pass it first try.
Can you expand more on Cyber/IT Forensics? That is the one I'm most interested in at this time. After getting Security+ (already done), what is the next best step to head in that direction?
Next Step: Obtain Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) or Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) certification. Explanation: Cyber or IT Forensics involves the collection, identification, preservation, and analysis of electronic data to find evidence or reconstruct a series of events, usually for legal purposes. The field combines elements of law enforcement, information technology, and investigative techniques. After completing Security+, it's advisable to go for more specialized certifications to dive deeper into forensics. Two of the leading ones are: Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) offered by ISFCE: This is well-recognized and covers a broad range of topics in computer forensics, including methodology and ethics. Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) offered by IACIS: This is another respected certification and is somewhat more rigorous than CCE. Both certifications require practical exercises and exams that ensure you can apply forensic techniques and tools in real-world scenarios. Having one of these certifications would validate your expertise and commitment to the field, making you more appealing to potential employers or clients.
I'd highly suggest you just get a job in the field that offers a variety of experience. Find out what you actually enjoy doing before deciding on a path...
In your video on certificates could you do a section for College graduates, with an AS, BS and MS in computer science. Most videos that talk about certificates just act as if you have no education and are starting from scratch. if you have any of these degrees i feel like an A+ cert would be a waste of time and money. So i am left unsure which certificates are worth the time and effort. I think many new graduates would find this useful. Me specifically i have a double major BS in computer science and mathematics. But i am not sure which certificate would be worth the effort or even if i should bother getting any. I also have military experience working in signal.
Definitely! I'll try to make the follow-up vids with different backgrounds in mind. I want to make sure people don't just waste their time like i did going after something that won't help them get to where they want to be.
Military is a pretty good path too just harder. You come out with 4 years of experience(that you get paid for) possibly a degree and can get all the certs you want using the Army COOL program for free. Go in as a 24H get a bunch of networking experience and reclassify as a 17C and get all the defensive and offensive training. Even do it in the Guard and get a civilian job after AIT.
Really confusing especially learning cyber security isn't really like searching free online course cyber security but instead subjects that build up your cyber security mindset: Networking, programming, servers, cryptography, operating system and inside cryptography there are maths, algorithms and logical subjects. So getting into cyber security really takes time..
With that road map, you make an intellectual point 😉. Love your content, man. look forward to more. You have really made my quest for cybersecurity entertaining and educational.
Love your channel, I’m so lost with what I want to do to get to cybersecurity so right now I’m going to a smaller 2 year college for a TC in cybersecurity. The end goal for me is to be somewhere in networking or a red teamer. Just don’t know what to do to get there.
Wuzzup man! Just got here and loooove your stuff. Thank you. I think security might be my path, but I'm limited to physical disabilities and was wondering if there's any security positions that are more remote or stay at home fields?
Definitely are tons of fully remote positions, which is the big plus side of cyber imo. My last MSSP job which handled some security (but I was essentially a glorified helpdesk technician) and my first and second security positions were/are fully remote as a security analyst.
