Great explanation Dr Haas, I like the sound of cyberknife however I was told that I am not a candidate due to the size of the prostate. why does the size of the prostate limit the cyberknife option?
What perspective do we have on the side effects beyond 5 years on the surrounding organs such as the rectum, the bladder, the penile bulb? Spacer gel with SBRT?
Thanks for educating the general public I’m deciding what treatment to discuss with my urologist for prostate cancer I feel confident this is the way to go
In brachytherapy you don't have to track, follow the prostate since you are implanting straight into it under ultrasound viewer control. Plus the idea of not holding a baby or a pregnant woman on your knees for 2 months is not really a big deal.
Is it true that patients using cyberknife have to drink absorbent amount of water before lying down for treatment? I have also read that it is hard to get through it due to the fact that the person needs to urinate and has a hard time holding the urge.
Meeting Dr gboya on RU-vid has really been one of the best day of my life after years of suffering I have been finally cured from prostate cancer thanks doc God bless you doc. #drgboya
there's different types of hifu targeted where they only destroy the cancerous areas plus a margin and you get to keep your prostate and it can grow back somewhat or total ablation of the prostate it's done with high frequency sound so no radiation the recovery is a catheter for 1-2 weeks as apposed to cyberknife no catheter have you looked into focal laser ablation? also check out this I started this protocol 10 weeks ago (and casodex in april) and my PSA has dropped from 49.4 to 8.4 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HYILnjc_wuY.html
