Zach isn’t actually working on smiling friends, anytime he tries to come in to record, Tomar runs at him with a large stick shouting obscenities at him. I work for Domino’s and I was delivering an order to them while this was happening, once Zach ran away, Tomar looked at me dead in the eye and said, “If you tell anybody about this I will take your wife and feed her to Chris.” I hope this helps anybody who was wondering where Zach is.

This game is the antithesis of Deus Ex:human revolution, where Adam Jensen "didn't ask for this" when he was turned into a cyborg but Tomar is literally committing vehicular assault, evading arrest and accepting ludicrous interest from the back alley robo doc. He truly has gone off the deep end since he stole a metal gear and sunk an entire submarine full of soldiers

My first play through I got to the end of the arasaka heist and i could not for the life of me pick it up the next afternoon after work, in that moment i decided to take a page from fans of TW3 and shelve it till CDPR fixed the game, took 3 years for that 2.0 patch and a kickass DLC but I’ve been having the time of my life playing through this game, they truly flubbed up this launch

Welcome to the future as told by the late 2010s/early 2020s where everything looks like an 80s night club.

Seeing how rough this game was on release is really funny, I got it after the 2.0 update and it's probably my favourite game, but man did it have a rough start.

I think the main reason they got specifically Keanu Reeves for specifically this was because he's been in a lot of cyberpunk genre projects before. Johnny Mnemonic is basically just Cyberpunk: The Movie.

I know the dead horse has been beaten harder than a rat in Lyle's walls, but Chris is completely correct. Bugs are goddamn hilarious and an entire game experience can honestly be enhanced with the ensuing comedy. Though I understand that people get upset when they spend so much money on games that come out half-assed. That's completely justified, games should be finished, but a few bugs here or there aren't the end of the world if it ends up still being fun for you. But when the marketing blatantly lies and does not represent the games at all, and then you get horrible baseless shills telling you for years how perfect and immersive it's going to be, only to then rate and represent the game based off their preconceived idea of what they thought it would be is fucking bullshit. It sucks to be let down, but at least be honest, the people that rated this game well when it released were lying to everybody, including themselves. They overhyped it so much without actually experiencing it that it becomes a part of their identity, it's like a creepy religion that they can't see any wrong doing within. It's okay to get excited, it's okay to be disappointed, it's just natural human response, but fanboys of anything just stand in utter defiance of realistic expectations that they can't keep those expectations in check, and then they aren't pleasantly surprised with anything. Everything either lives up to fabricated hype and is a 10 out of 10, or it is the worst thing ever because it could have been better. I just wish people kept their expectations in check and were then honest about their experience afterward. I don't find it fun to talk about movies anymore for this reason, and I love movies more than anything. Marketing, fanboyism, and alleged corporate trickery is really annoying.

I think this game is really funny for the same reason the back to the future movies are (or any movie from the 80s and 90s that "predicted" the 2000s+ was). They fill it with all this crazy tech but they cant imagine anything beyond upgraded versions of what we already have, and the game itself feels limited by current possibilities. It's a game about the future that is hopelessly trapped in the present.

Usually prosthetics are made to custom fit a very small range of sizes. A lot have adjustable straps to tighten or loosen but if you did lose too much weight you’d have to take your prosthetic in for an adjustment to make it fit comfortably again.

It is amazing how well they did with the release of the Witcher 3 and yet ended up completely shattering their own successful image with this game. Even the Witcher 1 was rough but enjoyable and the Witcher 2 was an improvement. Really they should have not rushed the game out till it had more polish. Though I think they fell prey to investor expectations and demands. Which I have noticed is a cause of many companies destroying their reputation by pushing out rushed games or ones made by committee.
