Like most of them said here. Just to confirm for everyone as well. It works, leave the first bit, and go straight to the mattress. I got there by 3:40 and I got up on it and leave my mouse alone. Eventually, I got the cutscene.

I did everything to the letter as you said and it didn't work for me. I waited until 05:25 and nothing happened so I decided to leave the game running and went to the kitchen to make a sandwich and when I came back there was the truck. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Another thing, if you are standing on the mattress and did the other stuff right, every few minutes in-game time you will hear shrill audio, almost "spooky" sounding effects while standing there. Ambient Music time stuff, idk how else to explain it lol.

Thanks for this method! I did the other way, finally beating the Arasaka Tower, activating the keypads, getting the side job marker, waiting for 90 in-game minutes for nothing to happen. Using your method, I now have the Demiurge.

I don't usually have much luck with these things, but this worked, so thank you. Did the computer and arcade game first, got to the mattress at 4:29 and the cut scene kicked in 55mins (game time) later at 5:24. Which equates to 7mins real time.

Ok so just update everyone just read the computer at 4am go to the mattress afterwards don’t worry about the time stand on the mattress and fast forward time until 3 whatever in the morning and just wait it will work

Wanted to confirm this works and say thanks....so thanks for the vid. For posterity's sake... Got to the mattress @ 4:48AM, stood there until 5:45AM, and the cutscene dropped. I'm sure it's been mentioned by others in the comments, but there is actually a Fast Travel point, South of the church, that wasn't on your map in the vid. It makes getting over to the one closest to the mattress super simple, no real rushing/driving involved.

I did it backwards , played the game only the intro , went to the computer at like 4:00 and stood on the matress and it worked . Now i didnt think it would till i started to hear music play and bam hits me like a truck out of nowhere . It flippin worked . You sir got a new subscriber plus its not modded in you just stand on the matress and dont touch your controller or mouse it will work , you just stand there for a literal ingame hour or so

2:12 To confirm, you do not need to have interact with the computer for the first time. However, I cannot confirm if you need to click on every message and file though. (I did obtain the truck even after I already interacted with the computer beforehand, but I still interacted with the files and messages).

Holy smokes this works! Basically did the same as in the video: Went to the church at the protein farm. Got there at about 3:45am. Stood in front of the computer. Waited until 4am, then interacted with it. Looked through the messages and files, then exited. Went to the Arasaka 3D game. Started a game, only read the intro, then backed out. Ran to the nearby fast travel point, fast traveled to the wraith camp point. Called a vehicle, got to the point he showed on the map. By then it was about 4:10am. Took some time, but I found the mattress, probably around 4:30am. Stood on it and waited. And waited. Did not touch the controls at all. Thought it wasn’t going to work, but around 5:45am, V started coughing and a cutscene played. Woke up around 4pm, with some computer and transmitter stuff by me, along with the truck. Playing on a PS5.

Can confirm this method works even if you have already interacted with the terminal and game and went off and did something else and are now trying again. I went at 3:30am to give myself enough time to get to the mattress. Interacted with the computer and game (just opening the game then backing out at the start up menu screen) and driving to the mattress right after no fast travel. Stepped on the mattress at 4am and waited and right at 5 it worked.

I for the life of me can't get the cutscene to trigger. I've waited over 30 minutes on the mattress and nothing. I did the entire process from doing the arasaka tower stuff, finding the laptop in the badlands, read all the messages and nothing happens. Idk what changed in the 2.01 update but if anyone's got any clues lmk

Can confirm this is still working with the 2.1 patch released in early December 2023. I just wanted the vehicle, and have no interest in doing the Arasaka Tower puzzle, so thankfully we can skip that.

It totally works! I even had to load a previous saved file because I might have clipped a cop while driving to the nearest fast travel after the computer building (also I forgot to use the arcade game and it still worked for me on PS5) I re loaded and the drive to the closet fast travel without hitting or clipping anyone. And I have the monster truck! Thank you for the tutorial.

too bad you dont like playing the game, or at least checking out the secrets yourself, the arasaka tower minigame is fun, and i highly recomend playing through this secret part of the game the RIGHT way the first time, i couldnt figure out how to get the cutscene to trigger the first time tho. but this worked, thanks bro

It's not like we don't like playing the game, it's just that the mini game is stupidly hard and not fun to play... Like, we don't doubt that the mini games can be fun, but the fact that there are overly hard to complete makes them not fun 🤦‍♂️ That goes with the trauma game it's so hard, and they patched the glitch, which makes it easier...🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Getting the stuff doesn't even feel rewarding because it was so hard to complete it's just an annoyance that I'll probably have to do it again🤦‍♂ That's Not Fun... "Games that are overly hard are not exactly fun" ~ Todd Howard It's the main reason why games like Mortal Kombat, Dark Souls Trilogy, etc and are only popular with people that enjoy games like that but are not popular to everyone else. games like this are specifically designed for specific people, and it ruins it for everyone else

Worked for me after completing everything I fast traveled and went to the mattress after I found it 10 min later. I got on it at 4:55am and at exactly 5:55am got the cutscene and got the truck.

no need to visit the creepy church or anything? just skip time until just before 4:00 a.m., and wait until 5:00 a.m.? there's a lot of conflicting information about how you get this to spawn, and how easy it is.

This is what I tried before doing the method I used in the video. I believe you have to of interacted with the laptop at least once before going to the mattress .

I can confirm I interacted with the arcade machine and the laptop in the church at 4:00 a.m then , drove to the mattress and waited until 5:30. I actually think it happened at like 5:28 a.m. everything worked once I interacted with the laptop.

So, from what I understand (from other people talking on forums) is that you can only do this once you've hit Chapter 3. Because people doing it right after starting Chapter 2 (and getting the whole map to play in) haven't been able to trigger the mattress event. Can anyone confirm?

Wow, I am honestly a little surprised this worked. From a developer standpoint I wonder if is counting in game minutes and setting some value equal to that location, which was supposed to be set by beating the puzzle. How was this discovered in the first place?

You don't have to go to the chapel, use the laptop, or interact with the game. So I just finished an experiment. I drove straight to the badlands location, found the mattress, skipped time to just after 4am, and waited. AND IT WORKED!!! Relic glitch, black out, wake up for moment to see the Mysterious Stranger, blackout again. Wake up and the Demiurge is sitting there just waiting for me!

This works on ps5 2.02 patch. First you go to the church then interact with the laptop at 4am then you interact with the arcade machine. You don’t have to play the minigame, just interact with it and quit. After that u fast travel and go to the mattress and just wait. Before the cough happens there will be a sound cue so you’ll know when it’s about to happen. For me I stood at the mattress at about 4:30am and got the cutscene at around 5:20am.

Most common and generally accepted theory is that its Polyhister, the person who was holed up in the church. There is some speculation that its one of Poly's contacts, but for the most part, theorists are fairly confident it's Poly

Oooooo yes. So I did the computer, got to the mattress driving 'fast but normally' by 05:25am got the cutscene at 06:15am and got the bigrig. Lovely. I didn't use the arasaka arcade game. Lovely. Thanks for the mattress :)

got the Demiurge on my Nomad without anything other than stand on the spot afk, after 4am, and it worked, now i tryed the same with my corpo and it didnt work, even after skiping a whole day... makes me wonder why i didnt need the comp and all on Nomad, but on Corpo seems i will have to do that...

I wonder whether CDPR will be mean and tied some kind of future quest + cool rewards to that arcade game completion. I tried this method and it worked for me on my first try. I did this on my PC and I had press ESC twice to clear my screensaver but it still work.

I just did this again. I read the computer and the opened the game at 3:10am game time and did not find the mattress untli 6am game time.. I stood on the mattress for around 55min game time and it worked.. So it may work game time..

Thank You 😃 it does work, interact with the laptop @ 4am click on messages and file and then interact with video arcade and quickly run or drive quickly to the fast travel near by and then fast travel to wraith camp and quickly drive to the mattress BUT DO NOT SKIP TIME just stand on it I got there at 3-30am and got the cut scene at 3-50am 🤗

Hey, just an observation. But the location where you find the chappel with the laptop, is the SAME LOCATION where in the pre 2.0 version, you would go to buy the Orange and Green GALENA "GECKO". If anyone HASN'T updated to 2.0 yet, I wonder if there is stuff at the other car purchase locations as well??? Just a thought. A purchasable car, would make a great subtle way to mark a location for a dev to put future stuff.....
