I get where the devs are coming from, the majority of people that purchase their game never see the end and its their lose... But, them making it say a little shorter and focusing on more quest and activities ingame has ne very hopeful, still a lot more content they said but I agree I loved how long the witcher 3 was personally because it was such a great game and world to be in, I'm sure the main campaign is still going to be pretty long, i try to be very optimistic.
@@HamboneGaming_ solid point. I think CDPR has made a great game, and I'm super excited to play it. I'm currently on my second playthrough of Wild Hunt. I love it. Great video
Thank you much appreciated, yea most of my subscribers love the witcher series but hopefully can grow cyberpunk as well i still will always make witcher content and lore especially with all the new comers its nice having newer videos to help people out, and thank you for checking out the vid, btw you're name reminds me of gangs of new York lol badass
@@HamboneGaming_ yeah, Bill The Butcher! Haha. Who's real real name was actually William Poole. A little history for ya. I subbed, and I look forward to that Cyberpunk content! Let's reconvene in Nov!
Shortening the story for me is somewhat annoying. I feel the more the better, especially when there is no repetition. Amazing for this game is an understatement from what I can see. An actual living world with detail. At this point I am ready to play it. ... 2 months to go 😵
I'm really happy about this because replaying the witcher 3 is daunting 120 plus hours daunting not including dlc so hopefully I will be able to play cyberpunk multiple times without the daunting thought it will take over 100 hours each time.
I played every side quest (that I encountered) during my witcher 3 play through, so main stories vs side stories don’t matter much as long as the side quests are as flushed out as witcher 3’s were
Agree there are a lot of great side quest on par with the main story, like the witcher 3, its side quest are not just fetch quest thats what made it so great it just feels like their own adventures
Hambone Gaming absolutely, plus side quest were a grab bag, sometimes you would do a seemingly simple quest that would turn into meeting a cool character( like lambert or letho ect)
@@THEpicND thats what made the witcher 3 hands down one of my favorite games, honestly the only one I really finding myself always playing and coming back to, I have high hopes for cyberpunk and will trust cd projekt red
Its not short...over 50 hrs...and you can play it 3 times very differently and if you grt to side quests it can be over 100hrs considering there are over 75 side quests and they are not fetch quests...
@@sanjaychowdhary3118 the prologue was almost 5 hrs...if the game is 30 hrs that would be stupid plus the game has 25% more dialogue that witcher 3 plus you gotta understand that this game main quests are very and i mean very connected to the side quests...so you kinda have to do a side quest to connect you to a main quest or grind money or something...you cant run through this game like that...and to answer ur question dont know per say but there was a polish magazine that said its gonna be 10% shorter that witcher 3 whicj is about 55-60 hrs so there you have it...all i know is that with that amount of high quality side quests this game is going 80+ for sure...
I did get side tracked a lot during playing the main story of Witcher 3. And lose the flow. I think making the main story shorter will be a nice move. Hope they don't cut it too much
I honestly don't mind. I am an optimistic person. I have a feeling this will still be long and the DLCs will add to the game. I am really excited and I know I will still have many hours in this gane
Have you seen the game "The invincible" made by ex CD Project and Dying light developers?? It's a first person scifi thriller in the vein of alien Isolation! By skyward industries
it WASN'T shortened it was made shorter, a very important difference, which was announced a year ago, it is still around 50 hours at least the main story, just slightly shorter than witcher 3. But it was intended, nothing was cut, dont get mad over false outrage and clickbait articles, which use google translation from polish interviews...
@@HamboneGaming_ sry, I commented it under the wrong video, I meant to comment it under angry joe's video, where he said, they were cutting the story which is BS, I have watched both if the video after each other, and must have misclicked in my watch history when I went to comment
I'm perfectly okay with this. I dont have a lot of time to play games now adays, and I'm sure there's going to be that 200+ hours of stuff packed back in with the DLC, so this is all good news.
I agree it does suck to hear that the main story is shortened, ive played the entire witcher 3 5 times to lol but at least there is more content then the witcher 3 they said just a little bit shorter main story, but we shall see
