Keanu Reeves REALLY nailed Johnny Silverhand... Somber, bitter, tired...but still has that rebellious spirit. I’m liking Female V’s delivery, too...both are great. Her voice is just smoother.
This is just my opinion, but I really feel like the relationship between V and Johnny is a lot more engaging if you play as female. I cant describe it, but theres a certain intensity to the relationship that's borderline romantic, but isn't at the same time, which is super fascinating to me.
I think the opposite. I like that he has almost no mention of viewing her as a woman, almost this huge amount of respect for her despite how he sees and treats women usually.
Agreed I’m not even mad that Saburo, and Morgan Black Hand’s roles got reduced to make way for johnny. Just means that if there is a sequel we still have characters that can pop up.
This makes me believe that the influence that V and Johnny had on each other was more natural and not due to the chip, or are the developers on some metaphysical thing.
Thanks, I wanted to relive that bit from my playtrough, one of the best scenes in the game. Keanu shines as Silverhand, and I really do preffer female V
I choose “Nah, fucked that up too” when he said we were close. Think it’s the most interesting choice since he will realise it’s true and ask for a 2nd chance
What's interesting is that choosing that option is one of the only ways to get the secret ending. Johnny actually respects you more if you call him out on his bullshit and starts putting in the effort to be a better person that V believes he can be by giving him a second chance.
@@prismanic24old af, but just saying this was a myth lol. Despite so many guides saying the dialogue had to be specific here, it didn’t really. I’m 99% sure this players dialogue options could still get the secret ending.
Though it seems that their relationship came to a good point in this set of answers, I think the closest they get is when V says Johnny fucked up their relationship too (the "secret ending" set of answers). In that case, he gets more protective of V. You can notice that especially in the conversation they have after the Show in A Like Supreme - if V said he fucked up, after the show he gets annoyed at Kerry for leaving her behind, and tells V that she is more important than Kerry (!!!). And that he kinda regretted making her take the pills again just for that.
I feel like the reason you can't get the don't fear the devil end with this dialogue path is because Johnny like you too much to send you headfirst into arasaka alone
I feel the contrary, like johny understood the weight of his actions and trusted v with his life, he was ready to lose everything so v doesn´t have to make a choice that he/she could regret
You can, if you get 70% Johnny Affinity. The specific dialogue path is just what gives you the ability to do it regardless of the %. And I suppose that it's because if you talk to him about how he fucked things up, then he is aware that he owes you that.
The moment V tells Johnny the epitaph on his gravestone I bet he shed a manly tear. Johnny sees V as a little sister in my opinion. He can be concerned, underneath the snark and bitterness Johnny shows genuine respect to V.
My old man had one, once. It was an old Box, tiny and cute; a car meant for a little German woman cruising around on the Autobahn. I would sometimes test-drive it in order to get a feel for driving before I got my license, as I was 18 at the time. I only wish that my old man kept it, as I preferred it over the Cobalt that I had as my first car.
I like telling Johnny, though, that he did fuck up their relationship, by breaking V’s trust. That makes this scene the start of them truly trusting each other, forgiving each other.
Honestly I really like johnny if you try to befriend him he actually grows as a person but to be honest I think his rocker act was in his own way a desperate attempt to fill a void he didn't quite now how
You should be able to Romance Johnny as female V. It makes too much sense and I dont get why it isn't in the game. They know so much about eachother and the ultimate redemption for Johnny would be to sacrifice himself for someone he loves since he let down both Alt and Rogue in his past life.
I personally think their relationship was made & meant to be perceived as that one complex relationship with deeper meaning and much more feelings of attachment and loyalty with a lot of friendship to it (tried to explain as much as i could), but of course you can perceive it any way you want
This was a really sad mission... I always thought JS was badass, but to actually feel as though you've gotten close? It hits hard... CDPR did good on that.
It's amazing and all but... When you see how big his head is in proportion to his body... when he takes off his glasses and stands up You can't forget it...
Your responses locked you out of "(Don't Fear) The Reaper"... Which is the ultimate ending... "Nah, ****** that up too." "What do you want from me?" "Ok. But as second chances go, this is your last."
