@@cheesesailor77 I mean, possibly? I know they have a website, but other than that, they might be putting out more videos soon. So we'd all be able to get the information we desire.
I am not so enthusiastic with this video. Marketing language during 90% of the video and the sole information : a coop game with one-shot scenario or campaign and some iconic NPCs of the video game. This can be done in 20secs. Please, take more time to answer questions and don't waste our time with the marketing aspect. If we have information, we know whether it is worth buying or not.
Lame, update's taking too long. No gameplay info. Not hyped anymore. Guess they didnt learn from cdprojektred about revealing / teasing a game too early.
Just some questions: Will the missions be scripted or more sand box style? Will there be an city map and some mission tiles or all on one board? Will the fights be with dice or cards or both? Will the be skills to learn while level up? Will there be more skills than levels, so we are able to create different chars every time?
You have asked a lot of very interesting questions. I will not answer them for you today, because we want to talk about these things in good time with a good presentation. Click follow and watch us.
I love the Witcher Old World. Meanwhile, hope there will be a better basic solo mode (thanks Markus for his enhanced work) or at least a fully cooperative gameplay...
Is there going to be an option in Spanish of the game in the gamefound campaign? Thanks for the answer. A lot 😊. P.d.: I love cyberpunk and the work done with the witcher is excellent. Thanks
I am concerned that the current update has "Ending that every cyberpunk character deserves - we have it!" I mean...aren't most cyberpunks criminals? So that implies a rather poor ending for your character, no? >_
I had this *exact* same thought; what does that even mean? Blaze of glory? Retirement? A drink named after you in the Afterlife? Also, i already played V, I don’t really feel a need to revisit the same character. There are other characters and concepts that can be told. Sure, including Johnny is great, but by design he’s not a model and he can’t interact with the world except through the avatar. Yes, I’m interested in the concept, but I truly have no idea what’s going on or what I would be backing.
Queen of Average buys everything. He’s addicted to Fomo. Still, regardless of him at this stage I’m on board because I love the IP. I know not everyone was a fan of CMON’s 2077 game. I wasn’t sold on it at first. I didn’t think much of it but now I’ve played it half dozen times I really like it. This one should be good.
My point being there’s a lot game mechanics but somehow most of what we see recently is „coop, solo-compatible, story-driven, campaign, legacy“. I see how this type of games is naturally very straightforward to produce in a way that they are full of cool minis and other stuff that sells KS campaigns. But it’s still sad. Why not a hidden movement game? Why not an “all vs one”? Big coop games look cool but in the end so often they are just a clumsy attempt at implementing at a tabletop what PC games do just so much better anyway. Just my opinion, of course. It’s just that I hoped so much for something else after the first announcement
It's not for me... but I appreciate the break from the witcher. I couldn't justify buying a third witcher game at this point. However, I hope in the future we get another witcher game. Something along the line of a story campaign.
This won’t be similar to the Witcher game right? While those components are incredible… the game play was pretty generic. It was less and adventure game and more just a racing game. Really want to avoid that in this universe.
How does it make any sense that even if CD project partners on this; you still need funds from the common man to get this to happen? :/ Just seems strange
If you've been looking at board game launches at all for the past 10 years, this is the most common way to do it. It gives the creators most of the profits and helps them gauge interest, as well as market the game effectively.
