Cyberpunk 2077 - The Role of a Techie Class 

Netrunners are Wizard-Rogues. Solos are Fighters. Techies are Ranger-Artificers. Johnny is the Bard.

I'm definitely gonna go full Techie on my first playthrough. Maybe we will be able to find blueprints for otherwise unoptainable cyberware which we can then use to craft some really cool stuff. I feel like CDPR has already touched on this topic a little bit but I honestly don't remember. Regardless, can't wait for Night City Wire!!! :D

I'm so torn between starting my first run as a nomad techie or a corporate netrunner. So many good choices.

Nomad Techie, specialized in using ALL the explosives available - that's what I'm gonna play :D You can run, but you can't hide if the cover is blown up!

I'm going for a Netrunner build on my first playthrough, but Techie sounds like something that could be fun too. It's a bit sad that we haven't heard more about it yet :(

This is the class I want to play the most. I love crafting and using the things I craft to overcome challenges. In multiplayer games I gain so much enjoyment in my friends using the things I make and be excited that they are doing so much better by using the things I make. I really like the idea of finding that one blueprint or ingredient that's going to help me make that awesome equipment that makes the game for me. I also like the idea of using the tech in the environment, as well as a tech-pet.

Techie/Netrunner combo 😎

I'm probably going to play as a Nomad assassin with a mix of the solo and netrunner class. I mainly want to focus on the guns, but also want to be able to hack things to give me advantage in combat.

I'm bummed but I get why they removed it. Having two separate skill trees both related to hacking would have been redundant. My ability to hack a literal human brain and a turret or robot should not be separate. They should just have Tech apply to crafting,Braindance and like in the 2018 demo your ability to rewire and repair things.

What I'm gonna do is combine fast solo and netrunner

Wow s pre-cutting techie video. And it came out around my birthday last year I didn't realize the techie cuts came so late. I had fun with Cyberpunk 2077 and both my first run and my eventual second run will be techie/netrunner hybrids just differing on which side gets more focus with run one being techie focused. That said I really wish they hadn't removed so much from the techie playbook because more options would have allowed greater distinction between my two Vs.

Neat. Kind of like being your own mechanic/medic.

I plan on going techie/netrunner combo... and mostly focus on getting around/avoiding fights where possible using stealth and hacking to my advantage.

To be honest I'm more excited to see how they'll utilize classes in the future in multiplayer.

When they say they "removed" techie class does that mean there's no crafting system or just not implementing the robot companion?

I'm wondering what class Geralt would be because I do not think he would be a full on solo. With Geralt making bombs and potions I think he would be a Nomad techie-solo hybrid. Thoughts? Would he have a bit of net runner in there like equivalent to signs? Like controlling other people's cyber-ware being equivalent to axii

I believe i heard somewhere that you will be able to mount guns onto that spider bot thing as a techie so it could help you in a fight.

I think I'm going to go both Net runner and Tech. With just a touch of solo.

So how would the nomad techie work

My biggest theory on techie is you will repair your own cyberwear. Enemies will be able to damage your cyberwear and gear a lot like Geralts sword and armor from the Witcher 3 using the armor repair kits.

I want to be a techie so bad in real life but I’m so bad at fixing or modifying things. I literally break everything I touch.

Techie sounds interesting, but I'll probably go as a solo first play through, and then either a techie or netrunner during my second playthrough, depending on what I find in the game to hack and/or augment. The spider bot looks pretty cool tho.

How many miles is most likely going to be in Netrunner and techie because for one day go hand-in-hand but I also want to be able to work on my reflex a lot to the other will be my three main focuses

Hope they've improved the gunplay since this preview was released, it was the only part that looked lacking. everything else looked absolutely amazing.

I'm going to be a net-runner/techie hybrid. It's what l am IRL so it makes sense that that's what I would play as. Difference being that I'll play as "Viva" or 'V' and have her as a corporate brat that grew up hating corpos, so she won't be using many guns made by Corpos and thus a melee hacker/techie BA. =8-Þ

Full Techie or Techie/Netrunner? make Tech to use yourself please walktrough/guides or can i just ask Keanu /Johnny Silverhand ?

The two extended gameplay videos that I've seen for this game both end in a boss fight which is basically a shootout with some sort of gimick: if someone was to go full on stealth/tech would these boss fights just be skipped altogether or would the bosses still need to be taken out but in a nore character appropriate manner? I would hate to think that choosing a specific playstyle could cause players to miss out on content or have a watered down version of the experience to compensate for their "lack" of particular stats. Also makes me wonder if by playing with certain stats you could accidentally lock yourself into a story path that your character is unable to complete such as a hard boss fight on a character with low combat oriented stats.

If there isn’t a skill point cap, can’t you be everything at the same time?

Would it be better to get a digital copy of cyberpunk or a physical copy?
