Thanks for the video, Rob! On paper the quickhacks look so good and powerful. Unlike the video game though, the netrunner will have to EARN that quickhack by breaching neuroport security. I can only imagine the excitement around the table once the runner pulls off a quickhack.
Very precise and informative, thanks. My GM just told me he's putting quickhacks into our game, so as a netrunner, your video was invaluable. Can't wait to become a puppeteer, haha!
@CybernationUncensored Last session, I successfully puppeteered my first goon and made him turn on his master. LOTS of fun was had 😁 Cyberware malfunction targeting cybereyes is also very useful. Enjoying the quickhacks a lot.
But without actually breaking the game. While some of the Quickhacks are powerful they're hard to pull off. Took some next level creative thinking to make them such a great addition.
Does “jacking in” mean connection remote via a WiFi type connection? Not physically jacking in via a cable? It’s a confusing term to use if it’s not actually jacking in
Great crashcourse, Rob. At a glance, without testing it out quite yet, the new rules look cleanly balanced and really exciting for netrunners looking for options in combat besides taking control of emplaced defenses or drones.
thanks for taking the time to say that! I agree, seems well balanced and i can't wait to implement these rules into some of my teams as they progress from 2040's to the 2070's etc...
