Lucy not telling what she's doing to David is frustrating, but it's also understandable once your realize it means admitting she's the one who short-circuited Tanaka during her dive, in order to wipe out the information he had about david, which eventually lead to the fiasco that killed Maine and Dorio.

Just to clear thingss up, Dorio got killed by a cop behind her. She was diving to Maine, but got shot in the back of the head - bullet when through her skull and shattered Maine's glasses

I think it's important not to separate cyberpsychosis too far from 'regular' mental health problems. We are literally told by Rebecca how his inner circle has been reduced. With Maine dead and Lucy keeping a distance he is left to deal with all this pressure of living up to a dream and a legacy almost by himself. Rebecca is there, but she's not his soulmate or his father figure/big brother. She's a really good friend.

Yeah. I'd argue that having mental health problems is the main ingredient of cyberpsychosis. Why soldiers who prolly have PTSD have cyberpsychosis tendencies, and why Adam Smasher or the Maelstrom guys do not seem to have the same tendency.

I think it's normal to feel frustrated with David. Everyone is. Even the characters. It's like watching an impending plane crash you can't do anything about.

Rebecca is probably my favorite character. She's seen laughing and going crazy while shooting people, but on the other side, she might be one of the most normal and mentally stable characters. Lucy is great, but she is also distant at times and hides what she's been doing, something that wasn't exactly the best for David at that state. Rebecca is basically an open book and doesn't care about showing her emotions and telling people like it is, which in my opinion, is what David needs more of. Also, Rebecca got those arm implants after her brother died. They're kinda similar to what he had.

nah, I mean her arm implatns are vastlz differenty, mor strong bulky type compared to the slender, spidery arms of her brother with gold plating. But reasoning same as wit hdavid and main I think. Plus, probablz helps her small frame with handling the big guns better (if we remember back the kickback from the shotgun in ep 4). I think her maniacal laughing could also be a escape or safety mechanism to not deal with the slaughter she delivers in the moment, maybe she is just completely unhinged, which fortunately does not translate into the "everyday life" so to speak as well.... maybe a little bit, but that is just her personality.

All Lucy had to do was tell David why she was doing what she was doing.....And the ending would've been so much different......

It's one of those scenarios where its just as dangerous, if not more, to tell someone what they're doing than if they don't.

She knew he was the type that'd go headfirst into danger so the idea was that by keeping him out of the loop, she could keep him safe and alive by handling it herself. If she told him, he might've died anyways.

Different yeah. Arasaka encounter would have prolly happened even earlier. He's been so stubborn even when the two people around him that really cared for him tell him to back down or back off. Tell him about the 'Saka goons after him and he'd face them himself. It's understandable that Lucy kept him in the dark. Especially since she was actually able to run away from Arasaka once before. The best way to do it by being discreet and keep erasing your tracks until they finally lose you or until they finally decide it's not worth it anymore.
