The Cybertruck is only for mobsters to crash into people and rekting their cars completely, Plus the trunk is only suitable for storing human body, it literally can’t store shit…
@@Anthony__420why not make the rear view mirror into a dedicated screen for the backup camera? Currently, when you signal to turn, it swaps the rear view for the side view, limiting your visibility. And, while we’re at it, why not put the speedometer behind the steering wheel like every other car? It’s dangerous to look away from the road to check your speed.
@@Anthony__420 useful if you drive your car to buy some milk and bread. A serious driver will be annoyed to check down to the right every time you want to look back, not useful or practical. I mean, who wants a freaking tablet at the front. 😂 are you seriously trying to justify that truck with problems conventional cars solved decades ago?
@@jeromyzwiers1452 kind of looks like we have taken your 100k and given you the bare minimum in return. To think they are running at a loss with this shows musk knows more about running a manufacturing business into the ground then anyone else alive 🤣
I own a DeLorean, trust me, there's NOTHING you can do to prevent people from touching your stainless vehicle when you're away from it. People are idiots.
@@Iisabeth My DeLorean, for example, is one of the last remaining all factory-original (except for the tires) DMC-12s left in the world. To tear up or modify an all-original antique that there weren't very many in the world to begin with, by adding in a computerized alarm system with sensors, etc, would instantly devalue the car irreversibly. So, to paint one? Holy hell, that would absolutely destroy it's value.
You forgot the actual worst things about it: it's about 20 grand more expensive than advertised, and theyre still loosing thousands on every single one sold, it has way less range than advertised, its already rusting, the build quality is the worst of any new vehicle, and it's already been recalled for multiple major saftey issues after just 4 thousand are on the road. Oh, and it's an actual major safety hazard, as the lights shine up instead of on the road, the rear view camera doesn't work at all at night, not to mention, if the battery dies, you're completely locked out because theres no door handles or manual keys. There's no safety stop on the front trunk, so it will just crush anything that gets in the gap, and the other panels are so sharp they can slice a carrot (throttle house verified that) and last but not least, the stainless steel panels are held under tension by cheap plsstic clips instead of molded to rhe shape of the body, so if you get in an accident, good luck.
@@DreDresChapters so you're just lying about the fact that a dude in a cyber truck got into a crash with a dude in a Corolla and the dude in the Carolla came out of it way better off
Gosh we have gone from fingers to hands. You need to test that. About 30K people in the US lose a finger each year. Prior to the cyberTruck. Just saying it is not the only danger in the wild.
@@danharold3087what about how it’s cheaply made, breaks easy, can’t actually drive in water without damaging the car, and many other issues? This vehicle was a scam
@@Myloypip It is cheaply made. If it came decked out from the factory with lots of personal attention this would be a much more expensive vehicle. As is your buying a functional starting point. Legacy does a much better job at spending the money in your face and shorting the buyer on the where it counts. Differently philosophy.
I taught the 101 version of transportation and product design at Pasadena Art Center, and students just learning to design cars often drew the cyber truck shape.
I would really hate to jam myself in that tailgate and not be able to reach the f’n buttons to release the thing. Why didn’t they put the controls in the middle? The carrot chopping frunk is interesting too given the cold rolled steal doesn’t have much give, you would think car manufacturers would just make bigger gaps and use some kind of softer lining to ensure you can’t cut your fingers off. I don’t get it, so many impractical elements, don’t get me started on the touch screen and buttons when you’re wearing gloves or covered in grease and dirt. Not a real truck
Worst. If anyone shouts "Avengers assemble!" or "Autobots Roll Out!", the cybertruck pushes the nearest shopping carts out to the far end of the parking lot. And plays keep-away. Bad truck. Bad.
You pay for access to whatever version they currently have. I got a used Tesla and it has FSD and it takes me everywhere but right now you have to supervise it and be ready to take over within 1-2 seconds. But it drives me everywhere. Cybertruck is getting the current version in about 3 months.
@@aguyfromnothere my 2003 truck takes me everywhere too. I just have to point it in the right direction and adjust the speed accordingly. I don't have to pay Tesla for the pleasure though 😂
Man i love my $100k cybertruck. And it was 100% worth it. You know, aside from the uncontrolable acceleration, falling apart when using wade mode, unable to actually use off-road, mechanical failures when using it on day one, unable to look behind me via the rear view mirror or even just looking behind myself, the rear camera constantly fogging up or getting dirty, missing half the features promised to me, and i have to be careful getting into the car or i could cut myself on the razor sharp edges of the door. But other than that its okay! Anything for daddy elon.
The way you clean stainless steel and yes it sounds wild but you are supposed to use gas or acetone the DeLorean when it came out had those as cleaning methods for the car
@TW1ST3D1NS4N3 you sound like someone in their 20ties and invested heavily in tesla stock. The reason why because you said baby oil, i hope this is a joke. Unless you are really an elon fan boy who can't see the writing on the wall
@@ExploringCabinsandMines I have to admire your commitment. You won't let the fact that everyone will make fun of you behind your back and think your an absolute tool deter you. Good for you special boy....
My niece just got one a week ago. I drove it for a bit and people wouldn’t stop touching it and asking questions. But it’s a hella truck to drive. It’s really quick and stops right away. I’m impressed given that it weights almost 7000 pounds
The tonneau cover does NOT respond to voice commands "Goddam, let me out!" Instead, the computer confidently verbalizes "I'm sorry I can't do that, Dave".
@@444thunderstr0ke Everybody isn't buying a Cybertruck. I've yet to see one and I live in the NY tri-state area. Nothing cool about it. From the rear all you see is one giant rectangle. The fender arches looks like something you would find on a Tonka-Toy. It's shaped like a Doorwedge. The Interior is plain, just a tablet stuck on the dashboard. It weighs 7000 lbs. Impossbile to keep clean,
@@TonyStone3000 You sound like that Ford Raptor owner I pulled up next to that was mad cuz he knew that my truck would revolutionize the pickup industry
What are you going to put in that storage space under the bed? Hopefully nothing you need to get at quickly. After all, how are you going to open the lid if there is a ton of stuff inside the bed at the time?
20k invested at a modest 10% in S&P 500 is an additional $2,000 annually that people are missing out on by having spent the money on a feature not yet available.. 😂
@@gamerfan8445 nah this truck beats every pickup I’ve ever driven on costs and time wasted on maintenance. I don’t tow more than 113 miles a week and my route includes a pull-through. This thing is perfect
Tesla's actually excel in cold weather. Look at Sweden... over 85% of all new cars are fully electric, most are Tesla's. A country known for it's freezing conditions.
I think easiest way to deal with prints would be to get a clear wrap on the car IF the stainless steel look is something you like as opposed to wrapping it a different color
Handprints are nothing compared to the rust that will eventually appear on the 300 series stainless steel panels that do not have any finish to protect them....😅
@@Dou6.2 Do some research on the stainless steel engineered by SpaceX engineers to be used on Starship AND Cybertruck . If you sprinkle iron dust on Stainless Steel it will look like rust but it's only a surface contaminate .
@wemakecookie Doesn't make it any better, constant maintenance to not have rust particles or fingerprints all over your truck is really annoying. I would 100% wrap this vehicle the second I get it delivered, atleast with PPF if you like the stainless steel finish
@@stockey So weird the Delorean didn't, my Stainless barbecue that's been outside for 15 years hasn't, my kitchen sink hasn't but you're say CT has, weird.
How about when you are towing your range drops from 300 miles on a full charge down to 85??? That's like a diesel pickup that gets 17mpg getting 5mpg while towing only 50% of its rated capacity. Ridiculous.
