CYC Motor X1 Gen 4 72 V 6000w Ebike Motor Uphill Malaga 

72 volts is the secret sauce! Manual specs out 84 volt batteries too!!! I love that the controller just handles any battery set up, just turn it on and it works. No jerry rigging anything.

I'm on the gen 4 also and I am so blown away. Been riding BBSHD since it came out and got the CYC on launch day. I'm really looking forward to new batteries on my system this fall. I'm running dual 52 volt 19AH batteries with only a 40 amp bms. The battery I'm building is a 40AH with a 150 amp bms . That should cover the total power of this motor! LOVE the CYC. My bike climbs anything I through at it. Even on 52 volts I see the meter hit 4500 and 4800 watts at full charge.

I've destroyed 5 rear axles but I think it is because my wheels are junk. Building up a sur ron rear wheel for this motor, surprisingly fits on a 135mm mtb with no mods.

Bro, shows us more videos, practically nobody records them about CYC gen 4 I would like to see how responsive it is, and how gently it reacts on throttle changes and pedaling force how strong is kick from start in different body positions, do reliable acceleration test 0-20-30-40 mph (accurate results!) Maybe few laps on motocross track with timer and GoPro Difficult hillside, slopes, raw offroad terrain. Different envronments like muddy, wattery, deep sands, deep grass Compare possibilities between Surron capabilities. Do some tricks, show us these 250Nm in work. I wanna see crazy ride. I just really search for sth what would let me decide is this really what I want from e-bike type vehicle. It's hard to decide between integrated 750W MTB or CYC like ebike, or maybe light e-motocross. (72v x 15Ah) I really like idea of small batteries, 1kW is enough. Weight kills freedom of riding...

How much louder is the CYC than the Bafang BBSHD. I live in the tropics and don't have hills or mountains. But I am attracted to the quality of the CYC motor and speed. But if it is too loud that would not be enjoyable for my use.

Are you sure it's pulling 6000w? because the 750c display is limited to 50A, I had one because I was told the in order to switch between different voltages, I had to get the 750c display instead of DS103, And when I checked in the display's settings, it couldn't go above 50A, which makes the max power lower than 6000w, almost half. I contacted CYC and the retailer, and they sent me the DS103 display which made the motor much much stronger.

what are the total build costs. I am yet not into mtb's or specs world. I just want to figure out how much a high powered setup should cost me.

nice bike im new to these bikes I know it depends on ur riding but roughly how many miles do u get on a full charge and does the pedleling work with motor or is it just throttle thanks

What are your thoughts on the motors reliability? Ive heard so many people complain about it and has left me undecided whether to buy this or stick with Bafang
