Me and the boys finally managed to complete our long over due Lake Bala & Lake Vernwy ride consisting of 100 miles and lots of climbing. What a way to end the summer!

You took a much better route than when I went Wrexham to Bala and back (50 milesish: at the time my longest ride) I do like the view from Hell's Pass. Ridden it up the way you descended from Lake Vyrnwy.

Which way did you go back from Vyrnwy? There's a hilly backroads way you can take towards Oswestry but adds on elevation

@@YorwerthHiraeth Couldn’t agree more the views were stunning from Hell’s Pass! We went through Llanfyllin and onto some A roads passing Alberbury. I think we had 2 other minor climbs after Vernwy.
