Another great video. Riding different routes and terrains makes cycling much more interesting than just on the road. I can’t wait for the nice weather to arrive John and it is showing signs already😎 well done John

Its nice to ride in the sunshine but i also apreciate colder weather as It means I can put in a good effort without overheating. A set of quality full length mudguards makes all weather cycling still a pleasure.

You are right about the mudguards. I found it hard to get some that fit my mountain bike but I 'bodged' some together and it mostly works. Not perfect but its a LOT better than it was

@@JohnonaBike my 51 year old knees stopped me playing golf in 2021 mate. Still suffer now, bloody age catches us up . Glad things are ok😊👍

Its still a bit sloppy on the lines John, I walked along the auckland way last weekend and noticed the passing bikes were well caked in mud. Hopefully i will be back on my bike soon.

Yeah its still sloppy or as I like to say like slurry. I went out today and it wasn't bad to be fair and quite firm but as soon as any rain comes which as you know is ALL THE TIME 😞 and its back to the slurry again as everything is saturated so the water has nowhere e to go

There is no shame in waling up hills. You are still out there having fun and getting fitter and the hills will just get easier over time - well done 😁👍
