Conor giving smack at the beginning and getting beaten by James in every event and both James and Mark overall is just beautiful to behold. I'd be so embarrassed. Amazing from Ollie though! Well done GTN holding your own!
After watching the GCN version of this, Connor is just chilling, having a laugh, and commentating through the whole event. I dont think he was taking this seriously.
@@PixelVibe42it can actually be rather pleasant. My old training days I would bike 10km to my run session, do 20km or so on foot between warmup/down and the session with a group and then finish with a few more km bike to work on a Tuesday morning.
Well done both of you 💪💪🙌🙌. Brutal challenge to compete GCN but you did great. Very nice to see those Zwift challenge. (I’m waiting for the video with the FTP test.) Marie-Louise
Mark. You inspire me each day to be a better person. You being my force of inspiration I graduated in master of business administration. You are genuinely a legend 👏 Love you Kir From Australia 🇦🇺
Congratulations to both! They need a fair revenge. I understand that swimming could just be too hard technically for the cyclist, but maybe you could replace it with some rowing or roll-skiing. It just needs to be something which levels the technical playing field but gives the tri-guys fair play for their upper-body swim strength which is a handicap in hill-cycling.
Good job Guys. Now lets get those GCN boys in the open water. You might want to get them a unicorn floaty so they have something to hug when they loose. LOL. Seriously all Participants knocked it out of the park. Congratulations to GCN.
Awesome effort. Definitely should have suggested a run after and see what they GCN boys would have thought. Plus, the whole team wasn't there. Heather might have suprised everyone!
before watching..., just want to say, that triathlon people are made of a different paste, but so are cyclists. So gl both. The suffering of these athletes is tremendous, riding the "donkey" (bike) for hours. Today I've watched Vingegaard and so on in person here(Pontevedra in Galicia) and they were competing under torrential rain for hours, literally and I am not exaggerating, and the day was windy too. I've seen them pass and they were flying even under those conditions. I can't help it but admire them; the cyclists, triathlon people, and some others, are made under a different mold. Go Vingo! And of course, Go Heather!
Ive been getting some serious gains over Zwift. My avatar is max hight and 30-40lbs heavy and i use the 24/7 group rides The psychology of keeping the draft and not getting dropped is strong and if i do i simply teleport back, But when you get dropped thats where you really bump up your FTP average. Also we group ride slower in real life so it kinda matches real world conditions. I also mess with my Zwift FTP so that the graph 📈 on the screen is particular color for my target zone. At 40 can i become a world class athlete... maybe - i.Weld [24/7]
Well done in a race with one trick ponies. Good you let them win, because, as we know, cyclists are big crybabies and they would be lamenting all year long. 😉😂
I may be off course here BUT you are not riding! No pot holes or weather , no bike handling or traffic, none of the unexpected things like mechanicals or punctures. I don't equate this e version of cycling with my past riding experience. Not a criticism, just an observation. Any comments?
No I think they would agree, it’s a simulation. They call zwift games an esport for a reason. However, given that it’s a simulation it does translate pretty well to riding a bike. Just like pros in driving esports have gone pro in actual race car driving, I’m sure we will/have seen pros in zwift go pro in actual racing.
I would have loved to see GCN or GTN behind the names so you get the GCN vs. GTN feeling. While i recognize some names i don't recognize all.. Pretty bold assumption all that people that watch do and it takes away off the GCN vs. GTN experience. On a positive note, great effort guys!
