opinions on mist trance with %80 q cooldown refund? can also generally reposition and for cyclone also which veil do you think is now best now that characters turn slow and you cant veil>spear auto reliably
Hey chapll do you plan on making an overview video on the changed up meta in 1.0? Think this would be really useful for me as its hard to get a sense of everything that changed
you said you think its probably the best build in the game. i can see it in the duel server where the cyclone will never break on terrain or objects, but what about open world? do you still think the cyclone build is as good there or useful? what would you recommend as the most consistent/best open world setup if not
This has also been my preference for open world. It’s really good there too once again because double counters so common and the stun jewel which makes cyclone so good is very easy to get. The only time it is weaker is in raiding because most open world terrain won’t break it but castles will
Can I ask what blood you play with it and equipment? I feel like if someone wants to kite you forever with long bow this isn’t so useful bc of its limited range? Also would you agree in double dashing sort of being the best for open world pvp for the extra range and chase/running away?
I put a couple screenshots of blood and gear at the start. Im playing full scholar here because the resets are very strong with these spells but its so good that you can use any blood and equipment for it. It's not easy to longbow kite discharge because if you hit into counter at all you'll get pulled in. As for chaos dash I think its in close contention with both blood and frost since those both give much more value on hit but chaos is always a solid choice
It's a good pve game, lots of unique boss fights, locations, builds and playstyles to test out alone or with your friends :) Just make sure so make your own server and not join a public
I think in the current version of the game people who enjoy the PVP will typically get the most playtime out of it but the PVE is a great experience and there is tons of creativity in the base building. I'd recommend doing a private server so you dont have to worry about getting wiped until a major update
Cyclone does not have many jewel rolls. The only thing that is actually important is getting the stun. Discharge as well gets a small amount of value from any of the jewels but does not require any at all. The lack of jewel requirements are part of what make both these spells so strong
I believe long bow has longer range and can be released earlier than crossbow, but the crossbow shoots at higher velocities and the shots fly quicker, it’s up to you. Whether you prefer being able to have more control or more consistency
Not at all, all the weapons have viable situations to be used - its a mix of build and preference. Both the new weapons longbow and whip are especially strong Longbow overall is better than crossbow and more commonly used (my opponent nemesis is playing longbow instead of the crossbow) but I prefer crossbow in scholar since Im more used to the primary attacks and with scholar you tend to want to use weapon cooldowns on crowd control and movement rather than the raw damage that longbow provides.
is the shadowbolt build still a viable thing to run - currently trying to pvp on it on a vanilla server w spell crit chance and stacking spellpower gear just comboing ccs into shadowbolt (slash e / axe e etc) to get started and learn the game (build is fun to me just no idea how great it rly is) aka the build from ur beginner/default spell video
game is much faster, and there is a lot of damage in the game at 1.0, so i found that the crystal lance or shadowbolt dont cut it anymore. If you are learning tho, a build that you feel comfortable with and have fun with will perform much better than a meta build imo
Sadly Shadowbolt actually caught an undeserved nerfed going into 1.0. I've not tried it yet but considering it was already weaker than crystal lance Im not sure how good it will be. I could update you on that once Ive had more time to try it
@@chappllgr ye idm it being full meta its just fun to play but if it got nerfed to the ground (if thats the case) is there a spell dmg / crit alternative build to run that works similar aka get cc w weapon into skill- think i overall just enjoy the blood archetype especially the dash for trading is pretty neat imo- idk if theres another blood type build or anything i just dont rly know what to go for since all the information on yt rn seems outdated (i dont wanna play full fotm meta tho just sth unique and fun that has a skillceiling)
Very good weapon, works well as a solo weapon and most people call it overpowered. I have not been using it much compared to other players but if I do fit it into my hotbar it goes in place of mace.
dr stands for diminishing returns which is where something becomes less effective the more it happens In the context of static stuns it means once they are stunned to many times they become immune to it
Any kind of double counter setup with warrior or rogue tends to be very strong in open world 1vX especially vs less experienced players that are not good at playing around them. I'd recommend any combo between bloodrite/discharge/cold snap
nemesis is one of the best players in the game. We all prefer chappl posting footage testing builds against the best, so we can see its actual strength. He can beat casuals with any build and it would look super op.
