Can used cylinder sleeves and pistons be put back in? Of course if they're fine which might depend on how you remove them. So is it frequent to remove and put back cylinder sleeves without problem? The bottom (crankshaft) part of my engine has shrunk and need to be fixed, so I guess for that you have to completely tear the whole engine apart right. I'm asking coz about a year ago I replaced all 8 cylinder sleeves and pistons of the engine and I'd really rather avoid the same expenses this year also.
Used pistons can be put back in no problem as long as they go back in to the matching cylinder they came from. I dont think you would want to reuse a sleeve after its been taken out. Ive never done that. I dont want to say you cant but i will just say its not normally done.

RSH21 Alright. Thanks a lot for your reply. I really appreciate it. 😊
EL FAMILY MAN I am not sure who rents them but the kit has an installer. You need to trim the new sleeve to be flush with the deck. The tool kit has everything you need. This tool you see me use if from general motors. It is a factory tool not aftermarket
Ashroyer86 it may be possible but it wouldn't be the right way to do it and probably wouldn't be a good idea. But if you're asking if its possible then maybe. The installation fixture wouldnt have any holes to bolt through so the tools cant be used.
