I've suddenly been binge-watching Cyndi's interviews on YT going all the way back to 1984, and I've just realized she never comes out without something to show or give to the host...what a generous spirit. I had her albums back in the 80s but now I'm falling in love with her all over again...
I love Cindy Lauper's approach, and answers to the questions that Wendy was asking her, with age comes wisdom, and a certain calmness, when, dealing with certain people, especially when you know. what they're really going through 😞, it helps you to be compassionate towards them, and to give them a pass, even if they have treated you unkind😭 or, perhaps slated you some kind of way. smooches 😘
Wendy didn't deserve Cyndi Lauper's visit or the necklace...I would have loved and cherished an interview with my favorite singer - Cyndi Lauper and also cherish a gift from her😊👍🎀❤️
ochenkrasivy86 hello??? that was a bunch of bullshit! You don’t disrespect a guest on tv like that. It’s not worth all the negative reviews she will get in return. Put it on. If it interferes with the mic then go to commercial, take it off, and explain when you come back why you can’t wear it.Wendy sucks. I will never watch her again.
@ Mrs 504. I thought the same terrible at interviewing unlike Johnny Carson who brought out the best in Cyndi , they were great interviews and he helped her succeed .
Shame on Wendy for not being prepared to promote Cyndi’s HSN line ‘Touch of Cyn’. Cyndi just wanted to have fun not talk about no dang psoriasis. Ugh as usual Wendy made this interview about herself 🙄
I teared up a little. A little black girl who had one white girl friend growing up, that song meant so much to us! I truly appreciate women of all races and so thankful that Cyndi showed me early on 😁
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this Like who hurt her?? It's so threatening sounding when she mentions men in anyway Like stfu and ask her relevant questions that apply to her music and don't involve projecting your insecurities onto her
She's dope af. A sav for dancing. Her hair had me like 😍 the first thing she did was show off her clothes and say they were hers. Then the shoes looked super chic and comfy. Hers. That accent was amazing too. She lit up about her show. But she was cut off at the end when she was going to say what worked for her psoriasis. Darn you clock 😈 Big mash up of pure bright joy ! 💐✨ #Legend
Am thinking, the necklace was a chain... maybe she took it as chains having slavery connotations or something. She made it clear she was NOT putting it around her neck.
That was a horrible interview. Wendy, Cyndi is a legend and you spoke about psoriasis??? You barely touched on her show, no mention of her concert which is a couple of weeks in New York & if it wasn't for Ms. Lauper herself speaking on her HSN line, we would no nothing from this interview. Come' on Wendy you have to do better than this!
I agree too. Cyndi is so interesting. It was like Wendy was forcing herself to be excited. I hope Cyndi gets a chance to do another interview. She needs to be on one hour show.
I have a feeling that is why she came on, Wendy always leave tge reason that they on the show to the end of the interview, so the psoriasis was the reason
Cyndi Lauper is an eternal idol. We love Cyndi Lauper . No singer has healed my heart as much as Cyndi Lauper . I still vividly remember the overly beautiful Cyndi Lauper I saw at the Budokan in September 1986.
She needs time and space to talk she’s a musician that tells story. Hated when she got rushed and cut off! Dang Cyndi don’t go back on there! Love following you Cyndi love your outlook and absolutely love your music. You are awesome because you speak and sing and do and be from the heart xxx
Damn..*cringe* I wish I could have interviewed Cyndi Lauper instead of Wendy Williams. I would have worn that damn jewelry she gave as a GIFT, done my homework and known that she was wearing her own shoes and allowed this legend to tell her story instead of trying to say "me too" at every opportunity.
i always find she is not very gracious when she receives something , it bothers me sometimes people bring her beautiful flowers and she just takes them and sets them aside and says nothing
NO I expect her to act as if she cared and give a proper thank u instead of tossing them aside any ways she got the message that people thought she disrepected Cindy and she addressed the issue on her next show so smh to you too arsewipe
I was born and raised in another country and still every time I see her or hear her reminds me of my youth. She seems like a genuine person. I love her music and her energy.
I was in love with this beautiful vibrant girl in my 20's. I was shocked in recent years to find out she was 10 years my senior and it still amazes me till today. love love love her.
i always find she is not very gracious when she receives something , it bothers me sometimes people bring her beautiful flowers and she just takes them and sets them aside and says nothing
I love Cyndi. She's just so down to earth. I remember singing her songs at 16 and 17 yo. God miss those days. Ty Cyndi for the best years of my life. God I'm old lol.
Cindy was awesome!!! I was born in 1980. I was introduced to Cindy from watching the WWF when i was a kid. Always loved her!!!! She was awesome in WWF :)
My dad also has psoriasis head to toe, he found his medicine too. She’s so right, it took a long time for him to find his cure. Psoriasis is incredibly painful. My heart goes out to her. Cyndi is awesome. What a nice and down to earth lady. ❤️
I love this woman, she's a legend. I grew up with this woman in the 80's back in Brooklyn. I love her and will always love her and listen to her music 😘
I just felt all kinda emotions. Went from excited-confused- to uncomfortable to watch. Say, are pre-interviews a thing of the past?? Just a suggestion.
Lee Wallace I totally agree she was rude 2 Suzanne. Then talking about if someone puts ice in her coconut water w/ their hands in her cup & cleans it. And kept interrupting Michael Yo. And was rude 2 one of her studio audience members. She was soooo off 2day!!!!
I love that she did a longchain for the Touch of Cyn collection. I had made and given her a longchain one of the times I met her, and I was excited at how many ways it could be worn. It was 55 beads long, for her 55th birthday
Always love Cyndi Lauper music though years. 35 years still is greatest hit song today everyone love classic hit song of 1980s. I know my high school days of pop music in Iowa. Friends listen to. Kind fit in music style. She is truly one greatest artist and talented singer and songwriter and much more. Thank you. For this video clip. Two thumbs up. One great show. Thanks Wendy.
I've always liked Cyndi waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than madonna.
hmm i love me Cyndi but shes not more talented than Madonna. Which is ok cuz better than Madonna we have no one really. Cyndi does her own thing and to be compared to Madonna is just silly. She doesn't need to be better than this or that, she's fucking Cyndi Lauper. Shes her own standard.
Cyndi Lauper's an eternal "girl" ...She was one of my fav artists as an 80s girl ...she looks so great, here, considering her age ..and it helps to have a cute, pudgy face *wink-wink*
This was one bad interview! Cyndi bored and Wendy less interested... Not sure why they both bothered. Zero chemistry in this interview and it was partly uncomfortable to watch. Lastly Wendy needs to listen when her guests are speaking instead of just interrupting and moving on to another topic. I got nothing out of this interview besides WTF!
