Cyndi Lauper is an eternal idol. We love Cyndi Lauper . No singer has healed my heart as much as Cyndi Lauper . I still vividly remember the overly beautiful Cyndi Lauper I saw at the Budokan in September 1986.
Incredible otherside of her life, great to see. I was a single dad just few years younger than Cyndi. So yes I understand hubby's side as I had 2 daughters from pre-school days to now young adults. As their mum not wanted responsiblity and kids. So I had to get it right for my dad loved girls and I loved her song True Colours
Wow, she's 59...i want my next wife to look like her at that age!...oh, and you remember the 80's "Cindy or Madonna" question? well, CINDY of course!! =D
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was my 'feel good' go-to song back when I was in elementary school. And it still is, and I'm now in High School. Some things never change. It will always be my girl power anthem :)
Always liked her from the start. Don't do the cry me a river thing about being a working mom, teen kid, etc. You're wealthy, in a whole different life than the vast majority of the population.
Singers couldn't be themselves in the 80s, did you not read her memoir where she says the exact opposite? And the last number of years have shown artists who are not cookie cutter such as Adele, Lady GaGa or Amy Winehouse
