I must say this woman is amazing, her voice constantly gives me chills. I was good until that last line "go to sleep", because I literally told my mom on her last day with us (after her 10 years battling with cancer), that I will take care of everything, but she should get rest and go to sleep, just say Hi to Mama.

My grandma had been struggling in her health and was on hospice. She could barely talk and was having a hard time breathing. Her heart was only functioning at 40%. This song was in my recommendations a few days after I listened to "Stand Up" on RU-vid. I listened to it and cried my eyes out in a Mexican restaurant parking lot. It felt like she was speaking to me. I went to see her a couple days later and let her listen to it while she was in and out of sleep. She passed away the next day. I honestly feel like God sent me this song and allowed me to say goodbye. Thank you for this, it will always be a way I remember her💜

My Mom died 21 years ago...it still seems like yesterday. She suffered in pain so long before she was finally diagnosed with cancer. I moved her in with me and I eventually quit my job to care for her. It was so hard watching her deteriorate from the once vibrant woman she was. I’m glad she’s out of pain and I know she’s resting in the arms of the angels. I need to believe that. 💜💜 Thank you Scott and Cynthia for this beautiful song!💜

Dang it! I'm still hooked on POSE, the netflix/fx series. And this song Always, reminds me so much of the pain the HIV/AIDS patients and their loved ones had to go through. That moment with Pray Tell and Costas, oh my, that just moment just killed me. And all the countless times they all had to remember fallen sisters and brothers. Damn that show educated me more than any school about what I know about my community, the LGBTQ.

This is probably the most moving piece of music I've heard in a long time... My brother I'm sure is missing his wife/ best friend in this life recently and I thought about sharing, but I had to keep reading the comments myself to distract myself from crying.
