Vitaly has a different style to Denis, he's an offensive puller and from that clip it looked like Vitaly was going all out with the intention of pinning quick, Denis has a defensive style and is practicing for the sake of testing himself, there's variables there
Its crazy how regular Kamil looks next to Zaur physically, and Kamil ain't small, even though its practice, but still, to do that to Kamil is crazy impressive allowing him to get into his strong flop press position and then to still come out of it easily and pin him, thats a wakeup call for Kamil
@@sandert8287 possibly, but if memory serves me right, that was Zaur before his injuries. Arm power is heavily diminished by such serious injuries like that.
To the point of when this sparring was with Kamil. That left hand sparring footage of Zaur vs Kamil was indeed after Zaurs bicep injury of right arm. It was the East vs West 10 after pull Last November of 2023. It was after the event where he lost 3-0 to Georgi, the same event where Devon beat Dennis (Nov 11th, 2023). Zaurs injury Was in February 2023, 9 months prior.
@@PatrickWalsh-lu7ch oh ok. i can't believe I'm beginning to forget the dates I watched these. But now it just makes Vitaly's absolute dominance on Zaur even more absurd. Someone that beats Devon like Kamil can barely slow down Zaur, who's absolutely mismatched against him.
That match might as well not happen. If strength scaling is a thing, Devon is much stronger than Dennis who is strong enough to catch a full surge from Dadikyan. No point unless he's gunning for the weight class title
@@davidepapi5178Devon is not stronger than Denis. Probably in any movement. Even in pronation which is Devon’s best lift Denis lifts more and Devon himself admitted it. But he is much more technical than Denis nowadays that’s why he won.
@@davidepapi5178 Nonsense. Devon is not stronger than Denis, which Devon himself admitted. He exploited a weakness in Denis' game. Idiots like you won't understand.
considering that Farid and Silaev have a supermatch and Laletin does not compete on AMC anymore, the only one serious opponent will be Lyashuk who is also coming back after an injury.
@@AndrewTateUNLEASHED-my3juin some recent video Valera told that he decided to change the gym and training method because he always felt overtired and was fighting with pain because he had a lack of recovery. And now by his words he feels much better.
Denis is done. You can see it in his face. He looks just like Alexey Voevoda now after his 2nd pull of John B. Just not the same anymore. When everything hurts and your recovery isn’t what it used to be your endurance will be less as a result. His sickness must be an underlying ongoing condition that has a hold on him still to some degree. Sad for such a genetically gifted man to have such a decline but he owns nothing to this sport and his successes are awesome.
@@Bennythecoredriver I’m sure it will help but on the other hand he has pushed the limits of his body as a younger athlete. Life threatening Sickness is something that steals a part of you after. It’s like changing a part on an old car, the part is new but the car is still used! In Denis case he will never fire on all cylinders anymore. He looks in pain and unhealthy now. He looks like he aged 15 years since his last real display of prowless. It’s over sadly. He already knows it but it’s just about having fun now and inspiring fans😎
The thing about people like Khalid Jashel, Riekerd Bornman, Rino Masic, etc.. is that not only they have good genetics, they also pull well naturally (they have good AW instincts). For other reference look at Larry Wheels, it took him at least 2 years to just start looking like an arm wrestler when he pulls. Heck Eddy looked like he pulled in a better position. (but he was just weaker)
Devon had his biggest match on 20th April then he went to picton he pulled many people then pulled with Alex kurdecha and then pulled many people so he might be very sore and tired. And it's not even a month from levan's match
RU-vid algorithm boosting comment 💪 ... 5:54 Riekerd Bornman isn't 110kg , he's closer to 130kg. and really seems to have been training seriously for AW in this last year now. so much potential. hope he stays safe, no major injuries from pushing too much, as many of us AW sometimes do 😁 I would like to see a 136+ kg titan weight class? or 141+ something in that range would be cool.
@@user-je2hu7rn8t I thought maybe 127 kg, 117 then? that makes more sense then, I was thinking of Lachlan Carpenter is like 130 kg, thanx for the correction
More importantly Pradeep, watch the recent match between avtandil tutberidze and Sasho at the Europeans, Tutberidze is another special guy in the making
I saw people putting Kurdecha above Ermes in the rankings, just because of that damned practice pull with Devon. Now keep the same logical! Put Auden above Ermes too. Indeed practice pulls are like real matches buddies!!😅😅😅😅🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Laletin being above Denis right now is no shocker…. Laletin is a top 5 guy currently, and Denis is not…. Jmo!!! Also Zaurs left looks strong…. I wonder if he could get an East vs West match lefty some day. I’d like to see that!
Ermes is going to steam roll Denis. It'll be ugly. Brian Shaw, as an athlete, is an absolute freak. If he does become more fluid in arm wrestling, and learns from Devon, which is a lot of peoples hope, then he will be a difficult opponent for a lot of guys. Purely because of how unbelievably strong he is. His grip strength alone is in the top handful in the world. Then add to that his overall strength.
honestly, as a huge Denis fan, why is he taking top 3 guys to pull? why isnt he taking lesser opponents more frequently. expectations are way too high.
Nothing cancels the fact that Denis was tired in sparring with Sergey Look at the old videos of Denis preparing For Ermes, where Denis easily held Tokarev
both had kinda same opionion, about Brian having potential but will never go elite. Someone was hyping Brian vs Levan in ryan comments and ryan responded, mayyyyyyyyyybe in 10years brian can challenge levan.
@@leonardomodes1007 if Brian takes the sport seriously he will be in the top 10 in the next 2 years without a doubt. He played basketball through high school and some college so he's definitely not uncoordinated
styles make matches my friend ,,, ermers couldn't do anything with devon , while he was able to stop levan , and then levan steam rolled devon ???? Eermes destrryoed jerrry and i dont think devon beats jerrry as convincingly ,
Vitaly needs a shot at Levan so we can see where he’s at currently. I’m not sure if he’s there yet but it may be interesting. Plus Levan needs to pull more. Engin needs to get him more matches. One a year ain’t fair!
What percentage is Denis, maybe 70% -75% at most. Denis is making terrible decisions, he really needs to start much lower and have 6 to 8 matches before he even considers a super match.
most? yes if you take all from 50kg to 200kg, but he will beat none of the ELITE super heavy weights until 5 years+ full commitment. Arm wrestling doesn't work like that where you just come from strength sport and dominate suddenly
@@bobopaleo I agree, even tho I can see Brian able to defend really well, I think it would be hard for him to pin the very best armwrestlers with just a few years of experience.
