Phinikoudes (often spelled Finikoudes) is a palm-lined promenade along the coast of Larnaca. The name "Phinikoudes" derives from the Greek word for palm trees, reflecting the rows of palms that adorn the area.
Larnaca itself is one of the oldest cities in Cyprus, with a history dating back over 4,000 years. Phinikoudes has been a central part of the city's development, serving as a hub for trade and cultural exchange over the centuries.
