I have a quick question for Hog, im just a fresh masters. How do you do that animation cancel into melee after you hook and shoot? Do you just bind it to mouse 5 or 4 or just smash the V button after you shoot. Is there a video you can show us how to do it? Tbh, I have little success on doing that. I just find it very satisfying
2:00 Shit like this goes to show that Hog can easily go from "Troll/"I don't wanna Tank" character into a literal force of nature. Only problem is their is simply not enough of these guys. There's only DPS one tricks popin' off, Reins, Scrubs playing Mei, Folks trying to be jonak, stuff like that.
Pro tip as an road hog main, when playing against Hammond’s minds field and you’re full health, press E and walk in the MAIN mines the important the choke mines so u basically rejected an ult
Ik he’s really good. Dunno why everyone has to compare him to another player, this game is a joke anyway why start a fight over who’s better at hog. Instead people should appreciate a talented and skilled player... Cyx is pretty young and has amazing hearing, map awareness, positional awareness, and accuracy. Most of his content he’s hard carrying in masters Elo. He has bad games like everyone else and ppl use that as an argument for why Harbleu is better but imo they’re both equal, if anything its more impressive that Cyx is starting to scare people so much that they wanna defend their old school “god tank”.
And him hole hogging xQc during Winston ult making impossible for him to reach any enemie, and right after that xQc jumps and Cyx hook him off the map, xQc gets destroyed every time Cyx are in the enemie team
@@tsutsu7357 I think its the hook, shot, melee combo that makes him look easy. But if you're not smart with your heals or your hook targets that combo won't matter
SevPool considering they’re both high top 500, I imagine they’re equal, however cyx most probably plays a hell of a lot more of roadhog, so idk, I’d probably go with cyx
SevPool Harbleu isn’t the better roadhog tbh. He’s a better tank player overall cause he’s great at a few others. I swear Cyx never two shots a squishy lol
I bet very few people use that tech at 2:37. He walked off the ledge while holding jump and crouch which makes you be able to drop without making a sound.
Just picked up hog couple days ago, super fun to play hero. I am okay at hooking (around 60% hook acc) but I can't seem to secure the kill. I do the normal hook-left click- melee combo but it doesn't kill squishies. Am I maybe not hitting them on head with left click? So confused
I'm pretty sure you have to move forward just a little bit after hooking them. Not enough that they have time to move but every pellet has to hit with a lot of those pellets being headshots too. Also, you'll see a lot of hog players, like Cyx, preshoot with the right click, then hook and do the combo. The preshoot right click gets in more damage and you can essentially animation cancel it with the hook.

All about positioning, patience and timing Nothing wrong with a cheeky single ulting ;) But I do hear you bro It can be a challenge but it just takes 1000 hours to get it right
