First time running the 457 in the new chassis. Clipped the best groups and put them at the beginning. The rest of the groups being ran can be seen after the 3:30 mark. Wind flags shown to show how the wind impacts the groups.
seen a few of your videos, really helped me with the yo dave trigger install .like your relaxed style of shooting. up against it with that wind for sure.
That’s a good one. I am actually swapping that scope out for a Sightron fixed 36. The glass is way better then Weaver T36. And yes the Sightron is black. Not a fan of the silver either. It was cheaper then the black…

Thanks. There are few days where the wind is in my favor. Some times I can conquer the wind other days it conquers me. I would be happy to get a day with a consistent wind direction and speed. Reading the wind is key in conquering rimfire rifles…
Insane ass wind & hard to get any useful data off wind like that! Do you have a good ‘zero wind turret setting’ so you can count on your Kentucky POA’s? Your doing pretty dang good!
@@BehindTheTrigger0 Don't feel bad about that...I'm still fine tuning mine, often going in the wrong direction thinking I'm right. All I need is one morning with no wind but I ain't got it yet this year. I'm close & sneaking up on it Here's hoping...gud luk!
So far loving the RimX. I have only been able to run about 200 rounds in it but looking good. There are pros and cons to both. I will be doing a video talking about the 457 build in the next few days. Work has been busy and have had little time to do a video. I will say the RimX is looking like the winner of the two but it comes in at about twice the price of the 457 build…
@@BehindTheTrigger0 Appreciate your input! Have been contemplating for months and can't make a darn decision. Seems like 95% of the time a CZ can hold its own against any build depending upon who is behind the trigger. With that being said, I've learned my lesson with guns and the saying "buy once, cry once" definitely holds true. I'm not against paying more if it's actually worth it. Really looking forward to your future videos!!
