And THAT is how you do a gun review. You went right to it, described all the specs, showed the Pros and the Cons, and not wasted 30 minutes on silly anecdotes that no one is interested in. Also, thanks for keeping the music in the background at a minimum at all times. I wanted to hear the review - not the music. Clear, great video. Thank you.
I have a newer year model CZ Tactical Sport Orange (purchased in 2021) and it's worth mentioning that they have reduced the left side safety protrusion as well as improved the magazine well taper to help eliminate the magazine catching that you comment on. I absolutely love this gun! I have about 800 rounds through it and yesterday was 1" off center with perfect elevation of Bulls Eye @50 yards. I cleared the gun and asked the RSO to verify my shot. We were both amazed. You are correct... It's a great shooting gun!
Added this to my collection a few weeks back. This pistol is nothing short of AMAZING!!! My wife and I are amateur shooters who enjoy the range, this makes us look much better than we actually are. CZ does it RIGHT!
I was debating between this gun and the Shadow 2 for my next gun. You made up my mind. It will be this one. Thank you very much. Loved the the no bull review style. Lot of info in very quick review.
I have a serious problem with this video,I'm jealous as all get out! It's a beautiful gun and I love the video.Where I live people think a kimber is the be all end all of pistols which I know is bllsht. Thanks for a great video.
Is better than the CZ ACcushadow 2 or AOLD what about the bull shadow . The dilemma i find is that all Cz are great I can’t pick one .I hear 👂 a lot of ppl brag about the AOLD
Just got mine today! No amount of watching videos or looking at pictures will prepare you for how wonderful it feels in your hand. Build quality seems amazing. Will be shooting soon!
I am in LUST with my CZ-75 Tactical Sports Orange. Best trigger IN THE WORLD. Yes, IN THE WORLD, over 6,000 rounds in it without a single jam and I clean it at about 1000 rounds. The perfect weight, an awesome sight, 20 round mag, best mag release (I do not have to change the position of my hand), the most accurate gun that I shoot (and I shoot over 100 guns costing anywhere from a bit less to 8x more), the lowest recoil gun. This is my competition gun. Yes, it will cost you around 2K by the time you add a couple more Orange Magazines (though you can get them black for a bit less), and the L bracket for the RMR Trijicon. My only negative comment is that unlike other guns like the SIg Sauer P226 LEGION RX SAO that COMES with the optics AND is co-witnessed with the iron sights, why didn't they make a single model available like that (where they include the optics or give me the plates and must be co-witnessed - that way I can shoot it in ANY condition). But besides this minor comment, this is my favorite gun that has shot every ammo I fed it from $8 a box to $30 a box and never ever had a problem and is soooo accurate. I normally shoot it at 50 meters precisely with 7 centimeter diameter. People always have to come and see what I am shooting. No other gun in my collection (including my high end SIG P210 that costs 12 times more) can do that. I am a CZ fan, thanks to this pistol. If you are thinking of the Shadow 2, or anything else, save your money. This is the Patek Philippe of guns. Nothing else compares in my very humble opinion. Not even STIs costing 4 times more can or will come close in precision, in dependability, in beauty, in functionality. Again, the trigger will blow you away - I come in at under 0.7 Kilo (1.5 pounds) with the shortest reset I have ever seen in ANY gun. Skip it all and get this gun. Get the L Bracket from CZ so you can mount the RMR. And it mounts on the frame of the gun not on the slide so it does not move, making this THE most accurate long range gun. This is the CZ gun that swayed me to look at CZ. And please don't say that you can buy 4 Glocks at that price. All 4 Glocks will not shoot like this. Even by the time you add the Zev Trigger, and the Trijicon RMR, you still have a Glock. It's like taking a Honda accord and put in a 12 Cylinder Engine. Skip it and get the Mercedes S600 AMG of guns
You simply can't go wrong with a CZ firearm. CZ does ergonomics like no one else, and with the 75 platform as a base for versions with varied missions, they're all keepers. I have an SP0-1 Tactical, and it's my favorite handgun of all time. Competitively priced on the low side, I think that limited production is the only reason that CZ has not come to dominate the field.
sclwa85 : Lol orange is my favorite color, and this black & orange Halloween looking CZ is a beaut!!! I like the silver slide/frame of the regular tactical sport, but this tso looks awesome as well. Probably the smoothest shooting most accurate 9mm/.40s&w target pistol with one of the best triggers out there..I NEED this gun
I own this gun and love showing off at the range where most people are shooting and missing close in targets at a very slow rate of fire. I do my double and triple taps and shoot easily at 25 yards which is the furtherest the range has for pistols. It is so easy to shoot well with this gun as long as you have the basics of shooting down. I have been shooting for 50 years, mostly revolvers with 10-12 pound triggers and short sight radii so this gun is so easy to shoot well with.
I’m a new subscriber, and really growing to like this channel. I think you excel at explaining the qualities of a firearm to the high volume shooter, and not just the collector.
Agree... I've got a regular tactical sport but it's the most accurate gun I own and I've got a q5 match, an STI DVC and a Shadow 2. That gun is stupid accurate.
Nice that his acuracy are better than his main competitors who are 2x as expensive. I've never shoot with STI pistols, but I do a lot of shooting with CZ (Shadow 1, TS and TS Orange) who are my favorite pistols for competition. Please tell me what is the main diferences: DVC vs TS Orange for very rapid shooting, like bill drill?
Did you end up getting one? I bought a CZ Shadow 2 pistol just a few weeks ago. I've used it at a few steel target matches, and I have improved a ton! Before I got my Shadow 2 I wouldn't even get in the top ten. I used my Sig Sauer P938 the last time I went to the steel match before getting my Shadow 2, and I got 28th out of 30th place. Since I got my Shadow 2 I placed 18/28, then the last two matches I got 4th place in Production Auto! It's so exciting for me to see improvement, because I was not naturally good at shooting at all. I've had to practice a ton and learn proper grip and stance and so on.
Congratulations! I don't have a TSO but I do have a Shadow 2 and it's absolutely awesome. I've carried a P10S for a good while now too and the finish has held up great.
I just got one of these today and I can agree. It's absolutely fantastic. It's got a waaaay nicer trigger than my wilson edc x9 and my father has a cz shadow2 tricked out with guncrafter industries executive package and I like the TSO better than that. Only slightly, because that thing is amazing as well, but that single action trigger is out of this world at 1.7lbs. If you're on the fence about getting one, don't be. Just go buy it.
4 months and 3k rounds later, this is by far my favorite handgun that i own. Said good bye to my Costa Carry Comp. I absolutely love this thing. It is everything that i want out of a non 'work' pistol. When the trigger is adjusted just right, it is about as good as triggers get. With some LOK palm swell grips, the ergos are the best i have ever felt in a handgun. It simply doesnt move. This thing is so pretty it'll make you question yourself. My only complaint is the finish on it is pretty weak. Slide rusts and wears pretty easily, and the frame finish is very soft. Oh, and the non existent magwell blend. But i love how polished it is now after dremeling it. Superb. Somewhat oddly, i think this gun is excellent value. Especially compared to my STIs.
The extended safety for the Shadow 2 works great on the TSO, thumb rides higher like a 1911 and the right side is almost flush against the gun. It’s awesome and not fitting required
Someone at work got a cz75 tactical sport. A few people shot it and about 5 people went to go buy one after shooting it. They said it was literally point and shoot. Incredibly accurate
Great pistol & great video. I've been trying to figure out which long slide CZ I want & have been looking soley at the CZC site. Glad I stumbled onto your video as this model includes the most things I want in a CZ.
Very informative makes me want to start competing in tourneys for marksmanship, love the color as well not a huge fan of orange but it looks really nice, thanks for the review made me think about getting this as a back up pistol
Excellent review video! This was the video that sold me on the TSO, I pick up a nused(2021 in immaculate condition) on Wednesday! I can't wait to fire it up! I Love all of your video's and you're a Excellent shooter! Keep up the great work!
Dang...I think this vid pushed me over the edge. I have a CZ 2 now that I had milled for an RDO/SRO and WOW! Now I want to use the same platform in 3 gun tac ops and want the same feel as the S2, but I don’t want to go to limited every match. Now this TSO may be a tad different when going between guns, but dang the TSO is beautiful and checks all the boxes well and I can stay in tac ops. Thanks Mr. Outlaw. :)
The CZ Tso is a gorgeous gun. I also very much I think the close second is the Tanfoglio Limited is gorgeous also. Have you ever shot The Limited 10mm? Out of all my gun channels you are still one of the top favorites. Put some Lok grips on there in orange with a palm swell
Just got mine 2 days ago and your right it is nice! I was surprised that the mag well was beveled. I guess CZ listened to the complaints about that.. Only thing I've got to complain about is that the safety lever on mine is so stiff I cant hardly move it..
Internal slide rails do not decrease bore axis. Bore axis is limited by hammer height as the hammer has to line up with the firing pin which has to line up with the bore. This is why striker-fired pistols are able to move bore axis lower -- no hammer height to account for. These are amazing pistols for the division where they are appropriate. One can make the argument that a 2011 is slightly better, but I can't imagine for a second that one is going to reduce your splits over another.
Great video review! Been really enjoying your videos. My uncle just recently picked up an orange and he said it is his favorite pistol he owns now even over his Wilson. Keep up the good reviews 👍
I have almost $30k worth of CZ's all Cajunized one way or another and this is my absolute favorite firearm to shoot, a blind man could shoot 1" groups with it! Only issue I have ever had w/ it is 3 broken slide stops, pretty much every 8-9k rounds it breaks. So make sure you have a spare if you are a shooter!
I have a Tactical Sport Blue, and also love it for the same reasons. One note about the ambi safety, you can replace it with one from a Shadow 2, which has a higher shelf on the left and is flat on the right.
Dear my friend! i didn’t buy the CZ orange, but i bought the Shadow 2, i mean i love it very much and it shoot better than any pistol i had, that how i really feel it.. i knew how i shoot lol..how the trigger of orange 1 1/2 pound ... wow wow... it’s wow... Shadow2 is light to me... you lucky man.., had all good gun... i save long time to have CZ.. thankx for vids buddy...
I seen a post today on Instagram of some type of operator looked like a swat member saying he carried one of these. And I could only think about how he carried it regarding the safety ...
You got me a bit jealous, I bought an Urban Grey CZ Shadow 2 about 4 months. I will have to say, I thought that was a very very good DA/SA trigger. This is why I transformed all my CZs with Cajun Gun Works parts. But your saying that it is better than the CZ Shadow2 ..... huh? Great vid again brother....#CZ4LIFE
of course it is... its SA only. Shadows have pretty good DA Triggers, the Shadow SA Trigger can get a very high Level too, but you cant do anything about the reach.
Bro. I hope you see this. I love my TSO and my TS II. My new SP-01 Competition is on it’s way. My Bedside piece is my CZC Shadow Target II Ultra. I also have a Parot
Good review. If you have not done anything to the mag we'll yet, may I suggest glueing pieces of plastic to the sides about the thickness of the ledge you showed. Less invasive or destructive.
FYI, the Shadow 2 safeties work on the TSO if your interested. No mods necessary. Also, the optic mount you showed looks like the one for the Cmore RTS, not the RMR.
Loved the review, Have on coming... where did you get that mount "RMR" mount. What brand is it trying to search it out without any success. Thanks for making great gun videos! Awesome reviews... right to the point without blah blah blah... Thumbs up!
I bought a gun from gun from CZ Custom. I live not to far from them. I should knock and say WTH for you. Haha. Nice video and sick looking gun. The pictures of this gun online don’t do it justice.
Finally picked mine up today . Cant wait to shoot it. The more I watch your videos the more I want to compete in a 3 gun competition With this addition I just need a better shot gun.
Great review. I got a TSO as well, and despite the good looks I changed the grips to those rubber plastic ones of a stock SP 01 Shadow (with some sawing and filing). I like these rubber grips better than the alu one and they add a bit more width. I also added a larger left thumb safety as the factory one and my right thumb couldnt get along so well. With the TSO I shoot most consistent with it, it is really a great gun.
yay finally found one 9mm incoming. Such an attractive piece of hardware. This is the first gun that has pulled me away from my Costa Carry Comp since I got it. And less than half the price at $1650. I agree i would like some palm swell on the stock grips. Must say these orange grips look muuuuch better in person than on video. they almost look like they are glowing a proper LOL at carrying this
I'm getting a czechmate pretty soon, as far as I know from the op, the cm just requires a couple of minor spring changes to run regular power 9mm reliably. The cm is set up for 9mm major out of the box
I have been looking everywhere for this. I’m on every “notify when in stock” website and I’m never fast enough when they become available. Literally gone in seconds
