As you talk about trigger safeties preventing AD's, you showed a pistol with a thumb safety. If you just activate that thumb safety, you eliminate the trigger manipulation issue entirely...
Got one, took it out, using good CCI 40 grain, feed problems, ejection problems. Persevered the next day, same thing. Took it home, stripped it completely lubed it throughout. Took the mags apart and cleaned and lubed them. Went out to the range again, problems gone! My next step was to change ammo, but the CCI wasn’t the problem (I like CCI). I think it was the feed-ramp and crap in the mag from the factory.
I've been seeing the Holosun EPS being used quite regularly in law enforcement now. Granted, it's been a year since this video has been posted. But I will say I have a few former LEO and MIL friends that favor Holosun over the more Gucci optics.
So I’m 44, a husband and a father to three children (19,13,8) and I long since have had “buddy’s” or “friends” in the traditional sense. I have guys that I’m cool with at work, but we’re not spending time together outside of work. I’m not a drinker so I don’t even know what grown men would do other than bars and I’m not interested in that. I’ve been going to the range and it’s gotten really fun, but when I take my one friend he’s just not into it like I am and doesn’t want to go often. Not sure what my point is here, but I’m thinking maybe competitions could be a good way to go to meet like minded individuals to bond with. I thinks it’s a man problem that’s persisted for hundreds of years, but man once we sort of leave all the high school and college friends behind to start families and then those kids get to a point where they don’t need you engaged with them every 8 seconds to make sure they don’t spontaneously combust you get too much time on your hands to realize you have time on your hands!! lol….maybe I need a hobby
I have been using Glock pistols for a long time. I use the 21 SF and 30 SF. I have not experienced a single issue or hiccup of any kind with either of them. 100 % reliability. They both almost seem to aim themselves, highly accurate.
YES you said it... I prefer to only buy a gun that is set up the way I want OUT OF THE BOX. I don't want to have to upgrade the trigger and grip and all that. This seems like one for me, but I have to also take a hard look at the Sig and Canik as well. They all are great.
That's a BIG port in that barrel. 🤔Eww...the optic plates are _still_ plastic? 🤮The look of the slide serrations is an acquired taste. 😣The M&P has always been a great shooting platform for me and I genuinely looked forward to the metal frame. I'm glad that S&W has upped their game, though I will admit that I still prefer the Canik and Walther metals. They still have the best striker triggers, and I really do appreciate that in my shooting results.
Tell Savage and Browning and everyone else to make a 16-in barrel with a pencil barrel so it's lighter and will all be happier but this is the only 16 and 1/2 in barrel
7bigins for that. I dont even have 7bigins in the 6 guns i have now. Maybe 3000 and one was given to me. I gringed when i paid 1100 for one of my rifles. Thats not included ammo for it
How does this trigger compare to the Walther pdp pro as with the Walther performance trigger? Really thinking about picking this up for summer edc, and the pdp for cold weather edc.
I own just about every top of the line handgun and then some - I've NEVER owned a Smith (semi-auto, plenty of their revolvers). I hated the way they looked. Stupid reason? Yes. However, I think they may have hooked me on this one. IK the reliability and value are fantastic, the "pedigree" was never a question....I'm just an aesthetics guy, at least when it comes to women and pistols. Great review, going to pick one up - my first!
Absolutely out of bounds he didn’t put the S&w sd9 2.0 on this list, that guns hardcore and as accurate if not more than my Glock 19. However it ain’t no Glock 19. And what I mean is a Glock 19 is literally indestructible. However for the price my god, it’s so solid .It’s 100% my favorite handgun I’ve ever bought and I’ve been carrying pistols since I was 15 for self defense against everything from Mt lions to bears.
