CZ 858 Technical Specs:
- Calibre: 7.62x39mm
- Operating: Falling breech block , gas piston (short stroke) operated
- Modes of fire: Semi auto only
- Magazine Capacity: 5, 30 (only 5 in Canada due to restrictive magazine limit laws)
- Sights: iron sights
- Barrel Length: 18.6"

- Weight: 6.42lbs - 2.92kg (with 15.4" barrel)
- Muzzle Device: muzzle is threaded with a factory muzzle brake installed
Until recently, they were considered Non-Restricted based on barrel length, meaning that with a 18.5"+ barrel it is legal to own with a PAL and can be shot wherever it is legal to discharge firearms. With the implementation of C71 legislation, these will move to a prohibited class (12.9), and owners will be grandfathered once the legislation is brought into force. It has not yet occurred at the time this video was filmed and published. Currently, with the NR length barrel it is still being treated as "non restricted" and requires a PAL to possess.The Valmet M88 "Hunter" bonus gun is also Non-Restricted.
