Good to know the binary trigger still fits, but I think CZ made a mistake not having backward compatibility with older mags. P.S. - Be careful putting vertical grips on pistols.
If you buy a BFS trigger for the 3+ Micro make sure it’s one of the new versions designed to fit the 3+ which have ‘3+’ stamped on the side of the trigger frame. I bought my BFS trigger directly from Franklin and the web page said that it would fit the 3+ but when I received it what I got was the old version and I had to contact Franklin and swapped with them for the correct trigger.
I just installed my Franklin BFS trigger yesterday and ran into a problem with the selector detent that is part of the stamped metal trigger frame. The detent ‘finger’ was way too tight and made it very difficult to move the selector. I had to remove the assembly and insert a large flat blade screw driver between the detent finger and the trigger frame and ‘Carefully’ twist the screw driver to open up the clearance between the detent and the selector to a point where it didn’t require gorilla like strength to move the selector. For $500 this seems like an issue that Franklin should have dealt with ahead of time before putting this product on the market. And as I said earlier if you have to do this to your trigger twist the screw driver ’Very Carefully’ and then check for fit and tension on the selector before trying another twist to open up the gap if it’s still to tight.
I personally think these micros are better suited for the telescoping braces and supressors. These are specific tools. The longer barrels with sturdier folding stocks are better for bag guns. The long carbines make sense for training purposes to save money on ammo, again with the sturdier folding stocks. I can't decide if the forward grip is necessary or not with the micro versions, but definitely makes sense on the longer barrels.
Great vid!! did you swap the bolt with the binary install? asking due to all of the claimed OOBD when rapid firing. Again, thanks for the vid - definitely gives me something to think about for my next upgrade
Really cool channel. Do you have APC .308 pistol or any reflex-type suppressors? And which brace part is better - newer smaller Tailhook or Strongarm? And which brace has the most rear surface area?
I’m waiting on the .308 to come in. I’m a big fan of the Tailhook. For me it’s not so much the surface area is how it fits into the pocket of my shoulder or sits on my shoulder.
@@doorgunner4752 Cool! 14 INCH APC .308 with ACR-style folding brace and reflex suppressor over that long barrel is like the most gun you can have and legally carry in a vehicle.
Good Question, I was wondering the same but it looks like a Franklin armory which is what I have on my Ak Pistol. I’d like to know for sure though as I’d want one for that gun as well.
That tailhook tho... barf lol. Hard to find the ACR stock but the magpul zhukov is on the way for mine. I have the S1, My 8 year old loves the binary trigger.
