this micro version is perfect for a PDW with a collapsible brace/stock; you could rock it under a trench coat at that size the longer barrels look more appropriate for folding stocks as they're heavier and meant to be kept in a bag somewhere
I have a suppressor on it a lot so I use the B&T folding stock. I don’t own a trench coat and very much plan of keeping it that way lol, but It fits perfectly in my book bag. Stay safe man
I don't know why people complain about The recoil on the scorpion I have one granted mine's a carbine and I have no issue whatsoever with the recoil. The only issue I have with the gun is the trigger stock.
It’s not with the scorpion, it’s with 9mm direct blowback in general that people realize it’s harder than 223/5.56. It’s just something a lot of people don’t consider, but by all means it’s not as if it’s 308 or higher. Radial and roller are A LOT better until you suppress it.
Nice, congrats on the purchase. She’s been perfect for me for a couple rounds as well. I haven’t put much through it since I started shooting rifles a lot more but took her out last weekend and just ran her hard. Never an issue with CZ.
New short I just put out has it in its current form. Will be doing a follow up full length video soon. Thanks for your comment and have a great day. Finally hit 5k through her!!!! ru-vid.com3QzPr8SI_bo?feature=share
How long did your Form 1 take? I got the Evo3 S1 and like 2 days later submitted my Form 1. Eager as a Beaver to get it approved to slap a stock and foregrip on it.
This was my first form 1 and it took 60 days. That was twoish years ago. Heard it’s a lot better now. Congrats on your purchase brother. Have a great week and enjoy that pew.
I purchased most of my stuff from HB Industries. Great people and excellent products. Here is the link for the 3+ product lineup: hbindustries.net/store/product-category/cz-usa/cz-scorpion-3-plus-products/
I noticed it a little when I first got it. I only have around 400 rounds through it currently and it has tightened up significantly which is weird. I also noticed the slight play tends to disappear when the gun is on safe. I’ve heard others complain about this also. I guess I just got lucky.
I have a couple of the 35 round mags that are modified that I ran for the now 3k rounds I’ve put through this thing to date. It’s been flawless. Let me know how yours does and I hope you have a great day.
Absolutely, I have two on the way right now. I will make sure to review those or mention it during my follow up video soon. Hopefully my form 1 will be approved within 30 days. I sent it Friday the 21 of April and the fingerprints will be there on the 24 of April. Regardless, I purchased a brace so I can shoot this bad bitch before. I couldn't wait.
@@cerebralfirearms I also have two on the way. I got a Plus last Monday for 1199 at my local. Also waiting on SB tac and Romeo5. CAN NOT WAIT!!! I'mma subscribe to you so make sure you update us after the build!
@@jolkraeremeark6949 not sure where you live in this large world, but in America we have these arbitrary laws if a firearm has a barrel less than 16”. If you want to place a stock on it, you must pay a $200 tax stamp to the ATF and fill out a form 1 to convert your firearm to a short barrel rifle. This is an unfortunate and unlawful event IMO. But it’s a pay to play program in which the government enjoys extortion any way possible.
Congrats Brother...I love this gun, but don't know what's the difference of this with a 4" barrel pistol other than being just bigger! Can you explain this in a video?
Other than being able to conceal carry a handgun everyday, I’ll take a small pdw 9mm over a handgun whenever possible. 3 points of contact to be able to shoot like a rifle makes a big difference.
So for me, the ability to fold the stock and fit in a backpack is super important for me, even with a small pistol suppressor attached. I chose trilug for the ability to quickly attach and detach on the go. I use this as a HD setup or it’s usually in my go bag in case anything ever happens. Id rather shoulder something to control shot placement than shoot with a handgun and I’m a better shot than most. Not great, but better than average so please don’t think I’m being egregious. I’m just a fan of rifles more than handguns for situations like that. I also have a 300blk with a 7.5” barrel 1:5 twist for HD and a different go bag. She’s my close in go getter if with subsonic ammo and a suppressor as well. Just depends on what you want it for.
Nothin you purchase without involvement of the ATF and paying a super premium shoots anything but semi automatic. This is of course not as black and white but the overall answer is it shoots one bullet per trigger pull.
All previous generation braces will fit this perfectly. I had that brace on mine while I waited for the form 1 to go through. Thanks for the comment and have an awesome day.
Haha I am about to put up the next one that has been in the works for two months. It’s the 1.5k round review. Be up in about five minutes. Lots of shooting scenes and a lot of positive things to say about it. You will LOVE YOURS.
Up now brother. Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it more than you know. Hopefully I can get some better editing and footage soon with some upgrades and a dedicated filming room lol. Baby steps.
Same as most rifles/PCC you just have to give a little more of a smack while putting it in. Just a bit harder due to tension. Try it, but don’t force anything.
There aren’t a lot of firearms I would say people should absolutely purchase, but damn if this isn’t one I would back just off the couple hundred rounds I’ve shot. This bad bitch has so many possibilities. I sent off my form 1 the day after I picked it up but couldn’t wait so I bought a brace to shoot it. Simply amazing and chews up everything. Can’t wait for the government to get back to me. With that said, I need to put the 1k through her before I 100% back it publicly lol
@@cerebralfirearms just ordered the evo 3 plus. Gonna do the sbr build and suppressor forms. I'm really good at talking myself into things 🤣 and I found it for 739 on sale so can't beat that
Yes and for some reason it would kind of get stiffer as it was resetting the trigger mechanism. Now that there are over 1k rounds through it, she is smooth as butter.
@@cerebralfirearms should I clean and lube her now! She’s pretty dry out of the box! I’ll definitely be hitting the range with her soon to loosen her up!
@@metsnyc7797 I always clean and lube my new firearms up before shooting. Some manuals call for it, some people say it’s not necessary. I also dry fire the crap out of my firearms. Working the parts in always helps and gets you familiar with your weapon. That didn’t really take care of the snagging or tight tolerances, it was more so repetitious shooting. Trust me, she will get there. Now whenever someone picks up my scorpion to shoot it, they go straight to the sales counter to pick one up.
They have 10 in stock right now of the 35 rounds. Just make sure you click the 3+ option. He just emailed me if you want to speak let me know of a good email and I’ll send you our conversation. He also said they will have 75 more in stock in a day or two. Remember that is the 35 round mags for the 3+.
Thanks for the comment and make sure you click scorpion 3+. As of now, they have 28 left. Have a great weekend brother. www.yetiwurks.com/product/magpul-pmag-ev9-35rd-cz-scorpion-blk/
Getting the octane 45 for her soon. The stock that I’m in love with currently is the B&T. She’s a bad bitch. Let me know what you end up with if you SBR her.
@@Aspire2xx awesome choice and hope you know you have a cool dad, especially if he is rocking one of these lol. My daughters don’t get down with shooting like I do, but he will have to fill out a form 1 to use a stock instead of a brace just an FYI. That’s $200 extra to the ATF WHICH IS WACK. have a great rest of your week and do something dope for you dad on Father’s Day.
Congrats. It’s a great firearm and one that hasn’t failed me in any way as of yet. It literally runs any ammo you buy, shit or defensive doesn’t matter. Gets stupid quiet with a suppressor and has very little kick when suppressed as well. Love this firearm and I’m sure you will as well. A3 tactical has some great braces/stocks and HB industries has some trigger components if you need.
@@cerebralfirearms I just ordered the 7.8 inch. I have large hands that it’s only a inch longer overall. I will eventually suppress mine with the smallest suppressor I can can find But if I am using subsonic ammo in a suppressed gun the longer barrel is not needed. But it’s great if ur using SuperSonics at longer range. Good review btw. I will follow u.
