Hello, I really enjoy the efficiency with which you describe and perform your modifications. My son owns a Shadow 2 blue. I own the Shadow 2 Orange. My son has already installed a spring kit. My challenge is knowing what came installed in my S2O. Then I’ll order your kit that fits my needs best! Thanks
LOL with my first trigger spring change, I chased the spring around the room about five times. Lost it once for almost an hour. The damn things can jump.
@@EemannTech not what I asked. With the change in springs what is the double action and the single action pull weights? Production requires that the first trigger pull from double action be 5lbs (2.27kg) or more. With this kit is the first double action trigger pull still above 5lbs?
I have just installed the complete competition kit (130052) in my Shadow 2 and most cartidges won't shoot 🙁 It seems like the hammer can't push the new firing pin strong enough as they are shot if I pull the trigger twice. I'm using CCI primers. Any ideas? Should I return to factory main spring?
Hello Daniel Are you reloading? CCI primers are very hard and if you are reloading you need to ensure the primers are seated deep enough so that when you run your finger over the primer you feel a distinct depression, ie the primer is seated deeper than the case. Also make sure the Chanel your firing pin resides in is free of burrs, you can test this by dropping the firing pin in backwards without the firing pin spring. It should fall freely and the sound of it bouncing will tell you it’s free, if it hangs up you will need to roll a piece of water paper and work it in and out of the Chanel also rotating it to remove and burrs. Alternatively going up one pound on the main spring will also resolve the hard primer issue. If possible softer primers like federal 100 work great even with our softest 7 lbs main spring.
@@paulhagiantoniou530 Thanks a lot for your comment. Yes, I'm reloading. I just came back from the range, aprox. a 40% of misfires. Tried with commercial ammo (Magtech) and the problem is not present. I changed back to the factory main spring and 100% good, so I'm assuming the combination of this spring plus these primers is not working well. I will take notice into the primer depth as indicated. Firing pin channel is clean and clear. Unfortunately there are not many available primer brands in my area. I could probably find Sellier&Bellot 4,4. Do you know if they are softer than CCI? Alternatively I'll order the 8 lbs main spring, but totally I love the DA feeling with the 7 lbs :)
@@dani-vh Sounds good Daniel. I think allot can be said for the primer depth. Let me know please. Also it’s a good idea to have one pound heavier spring. S&B is also hard but check your seating depth.
@Paul Hagiantoniou just a quick update: my Shadow 2 is working flawlessly even with CCI primers with the main spring that came with the Eemann Tech kit (8 lbs). No need to replace it. You were right and some primers were not fully seated. Furthermore, it's like the new springs have "settled down" if you know what I mean. Thank you very much for your support!
You need an extended pin if the springs are too weak. With both it'll set off hard primers again, but it'll less reliable and dangerous. It'll be far more prone to firing when dropped on the hammer and dropped in general. Over the last 5 years 2 people died that way. One hit himself, the other the RO behind him. There is a balance in all things. Invest in taking classes.
Hello, I have received the kit and all the components are installed in my CZ shadow 2. After installation, I noticed a pressure problem on the trigger bar spring. In sigle action, when i pull the trigger, I heard a scratching like a false reset. I disassembled everything and put back only the factory disconnector. The problem is gone. Should I adjust the disconnector of the kit by polishing? Best regards
Hello Sir Thank you for your purchase, can you please send a video of what is going on with the reset? Send to export at eemann-tech.com In the mean time shooting the gun will probably settle the Disconnector and the sound will disapear, if not there will be some witness marks on the disco showing where a little fitting is required.
@@EemannTech save noise like this cz75 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NNhVUo2C-P8.html , I see the trigger bar spring moving in two stages with noise, as if the pressure of the sear was not normal, the problem disappeared by removing the disconnector and putting the factory one back
Can I change out my main spring from stock to a 7lb spring without having to do anything else to lighten my DA trigger pull? Will I experience light strikes on professional 124grn with federal primers? Or would I have to get the extended firing pin and softer firing pin spring too?
With federal 100% will work 8lbs main spring. If you need less trigger pull weight you can replace trigger bar spring, trigger spring (it will remove ~0,3kg more)
@@paulhagiantoniou530 I think we have fixed the issue, it was a shooters mistake, I noticed the safety was up everytime it stopped. Solid product!!! Sponsor me, I can start making review video's on eemann tech stuff
