CZ455 Eley Club and Wolf Match Extra Are They The Same?

Pleased to have found your channel - subbed.. Great job testing those 2. Would suspect that there may be as much (or more) difference between 2 different lots of the same ammo from either company. I remember picking up a few boxes of club a few years back for my 455 and it shot so well i picked up a full brick not knowing as much about lot numbers at the time it was a different lot and it shot like poop.. Tried again with the leftover of the original lot and back to the original groups! Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this video. Just getting into the precision rimfire games and was about to order some wolf. CCI standard velocity and SK shoot really, really well out of my routers, however Eley, including the veryexpensive Ely match shoot like crap. This might save me the money.

Based on my findings, I eliminated using Eley Club in the future.

Have been using Wolf Match Extra and Target in my Winchester 52D for years. Back when I first got the 52D (late 80s, early 90s) the Wolf was a little pricey but not like Eley. I haven't had a chance to shoot much recently but I have stocked up some of the premium brands and will give them a try.

I don’t know if they are the same big fella , but both of those shoot like poop in my rifles . So in that way they are the same . Before Wolff Match Extra was made by Eley , it was quite good with some lots better than others . Respects to Charlie from me as well . I’ll bet there’s no wind at the range where he is at . My Bergara "literally" chews up the casings of Wolf Match Extra! Will not eject it and pinches the casings so bad I have to dig them out of the chamber 😮 never tried the club, I am scared too 😅😊 Wolf ME is all over the place out of my CZ457 MTR 😢 I know CCi has that "E" head stamp and spins for Eley. Whether it is Wolf or Eley, that I do not know. Then, sends them to Eley to finish making the rounds.

thinking about the pdc chassis, can you fit mlok stuff on the sides of that? was wanting to install baker wings on the back, love the price point

I have always had better luck with Club over Target, and based on pricing Club in more expensive than Target as well. That tells me that Club is/should be better. I have also compared Club to Wolf ME and found that it shoots pretty much the same, obviously you will have some differences from lot to lot, but the lots that I've compared I'd say they are the same. I have not compared Eley Target to Wolf MT but I would assume that they are at least similer based on the pricing similarities.

That's a ammo I've never seen in the UK. But would give a go

I wonder if since Eley just started producing the Wolf, maybe they have the parameters set a little tighter, or if these almost were produced of the same machine?

Man, I have to say are you using your parallax adjustment correctly? There’s no way you should be missing like that all the time.

If the lube is different then there not going to shoot the same.

As far as i know... eley club is the top of the line "target" ammo? next up on the performance scale would be team then match and finally tennex?

I stopped buying Eley brand. I get better groups with CCI-SV in every CZ457 i have.
