The SK Long Range worked well for you. I’m used to Eley Match and Eley Tenex and also Wolf Match Extra. I do have some SK on hand. Maybe I should retest the SK ammo?
SK Rifle match if your rifle does ok to good with it has always seemed to be very consistent for me. Though in some rifles if it doesn't like it it does REALLY bad.
Love your videos Mr. Revolver guy I wish each of you would change rifles for an even platform and also I hear you and all the other shooters on this youtube complain about maybe shooting your down range camera. Did you ever think to weld up some 1/8 inch steel in a L shape to set you camera on and protect it from any possible strike by a 22 LR.
He has a bad habit of holding the rear of the rifle instead of letting it rest on the bag. I agree with you I believe he was the most consistent by each shot on the target.
Just a few comments on this; thoughts I had after shooting it (didn't do so well). Others may have already made some or all of these observations. The center 5 "ring" is about 5/16" diameter as it prints on my printer. To me, that means that, in order for one to score a perfect 100, he/she would have to have a rifle/ammo combination capable of roughly 5/8 MOA accuracy at 50 yards, AND the rifle would have to be perfectly sighted in and no shooter error or fliers could creep in. The 4 ring appears to be about 5/8" diameter. So for a score of at least 80, ditto all above for the 5 ring, and the rifle/ammo combo capability would have to be 1-1/4 MOA at 50 yards. 3 ring, about 15/16" diameter, so for a score of at least 60, one would need a rifle/ammo combo capable of roughly 1-7/8 MOA at 50 yards. 2 ring, 1-1/4 inch. For a score of at least 40, rifle/ammo combo capable of roughly 2-1/2 MOA at 50 yards. And finally, 1 ring is about 1-1/2 inches diameter, so rifle ammo combo capable of roughly 3 MOA at 50 yards should net a score of at least 20, all other conditions being satisfied. My rifle is capable of roughly 1-1/2 MOA at 50 yards, and my score was just about what one would predict using that rifle, based on the info above. Thanks, Eli.
Great shooting guys. Loving the new target hopefully we may get some decent weather this side of the pond for this challenge 😅 Had to watch the fly shot twice but I'm sure you missed by a nats c???😅
Some nice 10/22's, I'm jealous. The targets are great, if you make it the July target that would be fun. Hopefully it will print well on my laser printer, I dont have access to a color printer though.
Why can’t it just be standard hi ring or low ring scoring? The 50% is really subjective and hard to standardize. Other than that great shooting ya old devildog, how was it pealing potatoes for kp with private chesty puller back in the day?
Jeff look at the top left scoring model. It covers if things are squarely hit in those rings what happens if they are not squarely hit? So the 50% was used to drive clarity for shots that aren't perfect hits.
In my experience, some 1022 magazines are better than others. Also, the last round out of the magazine is more likely to be a flier. The top 1022 benchrest shooters have a favorite magazine and reload it after every 8 rounds.
What a beautiful looking family! I can tell how your wife looks at you the love still burns deep. This country sure feels like it has lost its values. This place would be a better place with families like this.
I love watching your bride shoot. Just one thing she needs to relax a little bit, I started to bite my lower lip like she was. The more focused she was, that blue dot would be in more trouble. Nothing better than time at the range with loved ones.
Richard I am going to point her right here to this comment it is much appreciated. I am not sure why she thinks she has to put on her business face like she is serving a warrant or something. Maybe you saying it will make a difference.
Appreciate your concern but me and my son have a relationship and bond that is unbreakable. He is at a point in his life where he knows that he is in control of his own destiny and that anything he sets his mind on is achievable and will have my support.
So cool can't wait to see how you do. Please also watch the newly released. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kmzQDQDXXqc.html some more details.
Yeah this was a bit of a rush before the rain. What's interesting is off video I DO. It is hard being a 1 man show trying to do all of it at once. When I focus on just shooting I have better results on target also. Make sure the cameras are on making sure I am focused in the center etc excuse excuse excuse lol.
@@Dayattherange Just think about when you were a little. Your mom taught you table manners. Bench rest shooting starts and often ends with table manners. My favorite advise I give new shooters that ask and show a willingness to listen is ________ It's the little things! Little things at ground zero are big things at 50 yards. Always enjoy it when you get your family involved. That is always worth watching.
Super awesome to see you all out doing the rimfire and having a blast!!! Really good shootin' from everyone 👍 Looks like a fun target. I have to finish my chores so I can get back to it 😂😉
Everyone shot great! With only two sighters , learning hold off skills is a big part of this challenge . All beautiful rifles, but I think someone had the edge with the Clark . 😮
You do not understand YOU MUST be hard on my MAN CHILD his father knows exactly what he is thinking. I am telling you -- you should hear him off camera the mouth never stops LOL.
Young Man. You are the man. I enjoy your excitement, your honesty, and the love of shooting. When I go to your channel, I know it will be enjoyable. God Bless you and your family.
