Hi Snowy Mario! That section contains "fingered harmonics". This is a technique executed by pushing the first finger normally on the string while the pinky touches the string very lightly a perfect 4th above the covered 1st finger(which produces the harmonic sound). When making a fingered harmonic on an open string the 3rd finger is placed lightly a perfect 4th interval above the open. This technique allows you to play harmonics on all the chromatic notes within a scale. I would recommend playing one octave G+ D+ and A+ scales in fingered harmonics to get the hang of it and then maybe try a one octave chromatic scale before attempting the section in Czardas. Note: for G+ scale the first two notes (G and A) will be in 1st position on the G string. G=0-3, A=1-4, B=1-4 in 2nd pos, C=1-4 in 3rd and then back to 1st position on the D string for D=0-3 and E=1-4, 2nd pos for F=1-4 and 3rd pos for G=1-4. I really hope this is somehow helpful and not overly complicated of an explanation! Thanks for asking and have a great day :-)
I don't understand why humans can have musical talent like this, how long does it take to become proficient, I've studied for a year but I'm not yet proficient, greetings from Indonesia
Please don't be discouraged. Violin is a difficult instrument to learn in the early stages but it will get easier with time and practice. I've had several students learn Czardas after about 8 years of studying violin. If you have a teacher and practise every day you will be able to play Czardas someday :-) In the meantime there are so many other pieces to enjoy learning along the way. I hope you will enjoy the process of learning and that music will bring you peace and happiness. Thanks for saying hello, greetings from Canada, wishing you a wonderful week!
I started to play violin last week, and i already know to play the first 30 seconds very well. BUT im playing the guitar for 10 years, so it makes a big difference
No idea, just for exemple a teacher said to me "you need 15 years learning to play correctly"..... ! But I did'not very much pay attention with this, I hope I can play correctly before so long years
🌹 Your performance is absolutely mesmerizing! The way you play the violin is like magic. ✨✨ It's evident that you put so much passion and skill into your music. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. 🎻💕
Wow, thank you so much! You have just now inspired me to live more fully too :-) Thank you again, have a wonderful day! I will go for a walk outside now and remember your kind words. Peace and happiness to you :-)
@@violinwithRosemary You too Rosemary! Touching someone souls should be the best gift even though you have to carry some emotions not everybody would want. Love your courage and kindness. Enjoy your walk among beautiful turning leafs. Peace (:
Thank you for your kind encouragement Raymond 😊 I appreciate your taking the time to listen 🎶 I was inspired to start working on a new Russian piece tonight. I will let you know when it is ready. Wishing you much happiness and good health. Thank you again🌻🐦🍎🐿🦋🐌🌿🌷🌱🌅🌞

I decided today to learn this piece on piano....😊 Lovely play with passion ❤ i like how you slow it down for others to learn the hand movement and shapes. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
That is awesome, good for you! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video.😊 I think it is fun and relaxing and good for the brain to play violin at whatever level you are at. I hope you will continue to enjoy the process of learning and this will be a great piece to work towards. One of my students learned Czardas this Summer before leaving for University. It was a goal of hers to learn this piece and she was so happy to finally be able to play it. Thanks so much for saying hello. Greetings from Canada!
Thank you so much for your enthusiastic encouragement, I really appreciate it! This was definitely one of the most difficult pieces I've recorded for RU-vid so far and I practised for months before feeling confident enough to record it. Part of me thought, why make a video of this piece since there are countless amazing recordings by world class soloists on the internet already but my husband said if I think about it that way there would be no point in making videos at all. My intention was to make a teaching video for my students to see my fingerings close up and it has been really fun to watch the view count grow. I was surprised when it reached one thousand views! I'm happy people have found it enjoyable and/or helpful. Thanks again for stopping by Have a great day😀✌
@@AltoonaYourPiano You are so sweet for stopping by🤗💛Yes, it surprises me seeing the views go up. The best part are the nice comments from viewers finding inspiration and help from watching the video. Not sure how the RU-vid algorithms work - this video has way more views than any of my other content. Thanks again, hope you are having a good weekend😊🌸🌷🌿🙏🤍
BIG WOW!! How WONDERFUL! Very clear sounds and flawless!! Really hard work! I love hearing this piece!! such a professional way of playing dear Rosemary😊👍👏👏👏🎶✨ I loved the speed change and nuance!! Enjoyed the entire piece 👏👏👏✨🎶 You shine here as always and congrats for 83K views👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉
You are very nice Joelle!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it :-) I admit it was a challenge to record this famous piece. It means a lot to me that you liked the tempo choices and interpretation. I'm still in shock at all the views... Thanks for your very kind words, I appreciate it :-) Wishing you a wonderful week :-)
Magical performance... The way he plays the violin and brings out deep emotions is truly mesmerizing. Thank you for sharing your talents with us... good luck and the best prayers for you my friend....😁🤗💫🙏👍👍👍
That's one of the wonderful things about learning a musical instrument. I am over 50 years old and am still learning everyday too! Wishing you a lifetime of satisfaction and joy with your violin.😊🎻🌤🌞🌤🎻
Thank you for your sweet and kind words Valeria, I really appreciate it 😊 I started this channel kind of by accident when I couldn't teach my students in person and it has turned into a fun adventure. I'm delighted and surprised that people like you see my videos and enjoy them. 🎻⚘ Thank you again and wishing you a wonderful day!🌤🌷🌼
@@violinwithRosemary Only a great teacher goes out of their way to help their community out. Truly inspiring! Thank you for your kind wishes. Keep up the great work :)
@@valeriad.a.5914 I'm so touched by your comments and encouragement to keep going. You are a very nice person!😊 I hurt my arms shoveling about a month ago, they are slowly getting back to normal. I have a fun Irish tune I'm excited to record once they feel 100% Your messages really brightened my day, thanks so much 🙂🌷🌤 Wishing you peace, health and happiness🌸🌸🌸
@@violinwithRosemary I’m sorry that happened to you, but I am glad that your recovery is going well. Looking forward to watching more of your videos, including the recording of the Irish tune you mentioned. Thank you, and take care :)
Thank you so much for watching Kerat! I was excited for you to hear it🙂🦋🌷I'm very inspired by your Mann Bharya cover, have listened to it several times🎶💜🎵 Wishing you a wonderful day🌿🌻🙂🌼
I just subscribed to your channel because I wanted to learn this beautiful piece. It really looks difficult but I'll give best to try it. Thanks so much
A warm welcome to the channel 😊🙏💛 some sections of this piece are easier than others. Perhaps start with the more manageable parts and slow practicing always works well when learning something new. I am hoping to record some more close up videos soon, thanks for your support ✌️
Una persona che si mette a disposizione passo passo per insegnare con minuzia tutti i punti delle note e passaggi .Questa è dolcezza nobiltà di animo .un abbraccio a questa fenomenale artista 🎉❤
Your warm words brought tears to my eyes. I can't describe how grateful I am for your kind and encouraging comment. Occasionally I receive negative comments and normally I brush them away without too much thought but a recent one that was left on another one of my videos got under my skin and I have been feeling a bit disheartened by it. You have helped me to feel motivated to continue to share my performances on this platform. Thank you so much and I appreciate the hug too.🤗💛Wishing you a wonderful week, thanks again🌤🌞🌤✌
@@juancarloscarreras2755 Good morning Juan Carlos, thank you for the wonderful suggestion. I will put Paganini's piece on my list of pieces to practise. Thanks again and wishing you a lovely week.🌱🌷🌿🌸
Ah, I somehow missed your nice comment from a couple weeks ago. I'm glad you enjoyed Czardas - it's one of my favorite pieces to teach and to play. Thank you for listening Hugo!
Thank you for your kind and thought provoking words. They couldn't have been received at a better time. Wishing you a happy and peaceful weekend 🌤🕊🌞🕊🌤 With gratitude🙏🤍
Woow!!!! So beautiful!!!! I wish I can play this song in this gorgeous way 🥲 I love it very much and I started to learning it. I want to I can play it like you play it. How beautifully, how amazing you were! ❤❤❤ ( Sorry for my english, I'm a brazilian student so my english is very bad )
Thank you so much for your kind enthusiasm 😊 It's great that you are learning this piece! 🤎🎻Your English is very good!! I appreciate the effort you made to say hello and leave a comment 🙂 Happy practicing and have a wonderful day🌹🌱⚘🌿🌹Thanks again 😊
I'm not sure I'm deserving of such high praise but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very kind comment, greatly appreciated🙏🤗💛 Have a wonderful weekend!💫🌺🌷🌺💫✌️
Thank you so very much for your positive feedback Luis, I really appreciate it! I've been practicing some solo Bach to hopefully record soon and after reading your helpful suggestion I decided that I will make it a close up video too. Thank you again for your enthusiasm and encouragement, have a wonderful day🙂🦋🌷✌️
Thanks for help, I'm barely even typing this cuz my fingers didn't stop playing for 2 hours Czardas, I really needed help with flute notes so I read your comment. I still can't believe I learned Czardas on my own, I went to musical school for 6 years, didn't come close to this and decided not to go in msuic high school, however, I decided to try some of the hardest high school pieces and my friends told me this is barely possible without proffesional help beside you, but I made it, I never dreamed this big. I guess self teaching guitar, ukulele and piano is helpful with violin because you're doing everything passionate.
This is so wonderful to hear! Your comment really made my day. I'm so happy that you found inspiration and help from this video. Wishing you continued joy and satisfaction with your music. Thanks for sharing your experience, I appreciate it. Wishing you the very best!
This song means a lot to me, it was my late Dad's favorite. It was so nice of you to play this piece and make me remember how upright he was then. Much thanks Rosemary! Have a blessed weekend! L70
Hi Anna😊That was very sweet of you to take the time to watch the video, I really appreciate it😊Thank you for your kind comment, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I hope you are having a wonderful week🌷🌼🦋🌞🌷
You are so sweet, enjoying my music with your coffee, that makes me very happy. I just finished a brand new video, just uploaded a few minutes ago. I hope you will enjoy seeing something new. It feels like an extra special piece :-) Please give Somsom a hug from me. Thank you! Have a wonderful day :-)
Todd, this video is on my channel because of you! I was hesitant to record such a well known piece when there are already countless recordings by incredible soloists on RU-vid but Daryl said if I think like that there would be no point in making any videos at all. The fact that you came in 1st place at the Ontario Provincial finals playing this piece gave me the confidence to share my fingerings, bowings and musical interpretation on this platform so I am very grateful to you for that.🙏🤍🤍🤍🙏 I have the best memories of helping you learn Czardas🤗🧡💛🧡
