Today we're gonna wrap up painting and decaling of the Eduard/Zvezda Mi-24 Hind. We'll take a look at the final stages and how to peel the carrier film off of those "new" Eduard decals. And we'll wrap up with some observations of my build and what I thought about the project. Thanks as always for tuning in and watching!

Nice Build! The paint scheme you choosed is from Hungary by the way. They got these paint scheme when Chech Mi-24s overhauled in Hungary at Danube Aircraft Company in the '80s and '90s. Hungarian Air Force Mi-24s weared the same paintings at that time. I like your building videos.

I'm confused. I was told the eduard set is the Zvezda kit with extras, but the two Zvezda 1/48 kits are hind E's and F's. Can anyone explain what makes this a Hind-D? (Sorry, I'm working on a Metal Gear Solid display so I'm trying to learn what makes a Hind-D a "D"

The Hind-D carried four SACLOS 9M17 Phalanga anti-tank missiles , the Hind-E carried eight 9M114 Shturm (AT-6 Spiral) missiles, and the Hind-F had a fixed side-mounted 30mm GSh-30-2K twin-barrel autocannon instead of the 4-barrel machine gun. That's why Eduard included -D specific additions. Thanks for watching and I hope that helps.

I used that putty for masking once and it left stains when I removed it. It also shrinks if you leave it on for awhile
