Couple things to point out: Pardubice and Hradec Králové are currently building their new stadiums, and they sit 20km apart. Brno used to have huge stadium and in the 90s had record attendances around 50 000 people for the best matches. not much more to add. maybe just Good job. and send you love from czechia.
@@patrickstar2750 yeah, there was a goodbye match for Petr Svancara couple years ago, but since that, its again sitting dissolving. And new stadium is only promised (as many other things in our country).
@@Vocas46LP Pardubice is finally getting a new stadium? I was there for a couple summers almost 20 years ago - the team back then was terrible and the stadium wasnt much better!
I have been to the Prague Zoo once and it was the most beautiful zoo I've ever seen. Views of the city in the background while watching the animals. Very nice.
fun fact, Pardubice and Hradec Králové are building their own stadiums. The stadium in Pardubice should open in february and the Hradec stadium is scheduled to be opened for start of the next season.
In Sunday i was on my first match in Czech... I decided Hradec Kralove because its 75km from Polish border and didnt check that they play on Mlada Boleslav. Had go 165km but was worth. Watching match on Lokotrans Arena was very fun. Low stands, very close to the pitch.
Can you also please make a video about Czechia second league stadiums? I know it might not be as interesting as the first league stadiums, but I would appreciate it.
Pardubice made it from 3rd league to first in record time (5yrs or so) and Hradec Králové stadium is already in builds and should be done before this season ends.
I'm surprised how economically inferior Romania of your last video had superior stadiums to czechia, more modern, larger and varied. I loved that one weird Czech andruv stadium @3:41 though.
The are two reasons. Romania is almost twice bigger as the Czech Republic in terms of population. You also need to understand that football isn't the most popular sport in Czechia. That's actually hockey.
@@czfotbalretro is ice hockey really a bigger sport? They say the same in Russia. But really football is bigger there than ice hockey? Yes, Romania has a larger population, but the football team is worse than the Czechs or at least similar. And the economy is miserable
@@erikthehalfabee6234 Maybe more people would tell you they like hockey more than football, but in reality, most of them just watch national team during championship and knows nothing about the game. People who would say football really watch the game every weekend. Hockey clubs TV numbers are much lower, but most of the people support local clubs at stadium. In football everyone is fan of Sparta or Slavia, no matter that he lives on second side of republic, and watch football in TV. And about stadiums, czech clubs dont have money for this and building it from public funds is just populism. In Romania they have beatiful empty stadiums and dirty old full hospitals. Choose what is better.
I would not say that hockey is more popular but its probably cause from view. Video is super nice. Thank you! And I agree some of them should do the reconstruction. But u guys are right the design is very variable. Which really like it! Some of them give you a super view to some forrest, tower or from Dulkla Prague the best view on all Prague! Funny football for 10€ and perfect you. Cheers:)
No, it definitely doesn't. Football is no.1. sport in CZE in terms of real fans, but ice hockey attracts more "viewers" especially during national team competitions due to historical succeses.
Please come to Africa, we have some of the best stadiums in the world... the stadiums in South Africa, Cameroon and Morocco are as good as any stadiums on planet earth
Sigma Olomouc’s has to be my absolute favourite. I went back in March and was just in awe of it. I look forward to heading back after I move to Brno next week!
Go see zbrojovka instead. The stadium will grow on you. Also, join the gentleman ultras for a beer (they even have their own English speaking podcast called zbrojovkast that you should check out)
We are the most football CORRUPTED country in EUrope ,so we dont have any huge stadium ....but we have billionares with their Spannish villas like .Mr MIROSLAV PELTA....Whats better ? To have a big stadium like HUngarians or have billionares like Mr PELTA with his yachts ,villas and jets ???? I thing having more billionares stealing money from Czech football federations and Czech taxpayers is better than nice stadiums............
